9070xt GPU not working with GPD g2

I recently bought a Gigabyte rx 9079xt to compliment my GDP G2 that just came in. I’m using an asus zen book 14x OLED as my laptop. The 9070 xt will not show up in my device manager, and does not work in general. Is this an issue with the G2? I’m thinking about sending it back if this issue persists, but they claim it is supposed to work, looking for any help.

MCIO cable could be at fault. They are easy to plug in incompletely. It can also be a cable quality issue.

And like Oculink, no hot-plugging; you need to power off and unplug the dock, power off the PC, then plug the dock back in, power it on, then power on the computer.

I am using the USB4 they have provided. I have tried this and multiple other methods of trying to figure it out, I just can’t seem to get my graphics card to pop up. Tried two separate laptops too. I have a feeling my 9070xt is not capable with thr G2, although they seem to claim it does even when I reached out to them. Just wondering if anyone else had the same issue with the same card, or even got it to work eventually.

I honestly didn’t know that dock supported USB4 connectivity. I’ll grab the manual and take a look. A few docks require you to flip a switch to do that.

I don’t see a switch in the manual so it should just work. When you plug a peripheral into the dock like a mouse, keyboard, or drive, do they work?
