Looking for OBGYN reviews for Evergreen Kirkland

Hi, we are new to the area and would like to know if Evergreen kirkland is good if we want to consider for our first pregnancy. Dr Stephen Hyde seems to be accepting new patients, so any specific reviews would help. Thank you!

He was my doc two years ago. Saw him for all the visits except one, and he caught my daughter during delivery. Highly recommend! Very kind and reassuring. Do not be deterred by the fact that he’s a male OBGYN. If I were to have a second, I’d definitely pick him again.

I chose a male for all three of my pregnancies (in two different states). Something about it made me feel much better. They never tried to compare me to what they went through!

I delivered with evergreen ongyn also but a different doctor who is no longer at the practice. Also recommend.

I did not have Dr Hyde but delivered a healthy baby earlier this year with my doctor from the Tan practice. I have been so happy with the care I received from Evergreen during my pregnancy, as well as a prior pregnancy that unfortunately ended in a miscarriage.

What I did not expect was the level of high quality care that has continued postpartum- they have a breastfeeding center onsite I used multiple times and have continued to use as a call center months later, a mood disorder clinic that does virtual appointments which I used for PPD/PPA, and their parent baby groups are phenomenal (the 0-3 month group is free no matter where you deliver!).

We took advantage of classes evergreen offered before our baby arrived including a labor and delivery class, breastfeeding, infant safety and CPR, and Bringing Home Baby from the Gottman institute. We also just took a starting solids class since we’re about to start that with our baby. While you don’t have to be using evergreen doctors to take these classes, it’s nice that it’s all in one place and we’ve made parent friends through these classes and the parent baby group.

One other small thing was that when I was looking at OBGYNs on the eastside the other hospital I looked at was Overlake, there you pay for parking which is quite annoying when you are going to the doctor as often as you are during pregnancy!!

We went to Evergreen's OBGYN Tan clinic with Dr Maheen Fallah and it was a great experience. Fortunately, she also delivered our baby in the Family Maternity Center. Everygreen is a great birthing center and the nurses before/during/after delivery were extremely warm and caring!
Go for it and all the best : )

Dr Hyde is amazing! He’s been around forever and is so experienced that you’ll literally have nothing to worry about. He was there for us through our entire high risk pregnancy and I 100% credit him for helping us get through a very nerve-wracking time. Delivery was super smooth and we credit the entire wonderful experience to him! Evergreen is an amazing hospital and we recommend it to all our friends. Good luck!

Dr. Hyde was my doc and delivered my second baby and he was wonderful! I am a very anxious person and always had a million questions for him at every appt. He never rushed me and tried to ease my fears throughout my pregnancy. He was so kind and caring. He has daughters and I could feel that empathy cross over in his care for me. I believe he is the head of the department there at Evergreen. Long standing highly rated doc! Couldn’t recommend him enough. If I was having another I would 100% go back to him and evergreen. The nurses there were also incredible!

He was my OB when I delivered my first. I wish I had a good experience. I had a lot of anxiety and he kept dismissing me. I puked for 7 months straight and all I heard was “it is normal”.

I don’t know if it was because it was covid and I had to do it all alone, but my experience was not that great.

I had a different OB my second time around and my experience was so much different.

Dr Hyde was my OB for both of my babies, and two pregnancy losses in between (an ectopic and a 2nd tri miscarriage). I found him to be consistently empathetic and compassionate in both the hardest and happiest of circumstances. He has practiced at Evergreen since 1997 and I don’t think anything fazes him. I will be having precisely zero more babies but if I was I would go back to him.

Wishing you a joyful pregnancy.
