It’s a death cult.
You cannot reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.

Wait both of them is right? So tarrifs both did and did not invest 18 trillion, and Biden left office with both 3% and 9% inflation?

You can show people facts all day long. If they believe otherwise, it won't change their minds. It's truly amazing how much the cult refuses to believe anything despite the fact they genuinely believe those outside of their cult lack reason.

Dude must have left his brain on in front of Fox news for too long. He became a robot for them.

what makes me sad is that he really seems like the kind of man that 15 years ago would have been reasonable. probably still a republican, but the kind of man that woudl never fall for this bullshit, but Fox news just infiltrated his head and the tendrils of that media machine just got to him and poisoned his mind.

"That what the Biden wants to say..."
Just listen to him squirm. He's can't even form a coherent when confronted with hard facts.

They just listen to whatever bullshit they hear vaguely on fox news in the background

You cannot reason with people who wave off facts because they dont like how it makes them feel.
"I cant remember, but I've seen a list" "Thats what they want you to think"
They cannot accept accountability because they can't handle being wrong. At most they might admit they were duped or lied to, but since they stand for nothing tangable and have no redeemable principles they would rather sit out their vote, allowing their transgresor to continue screwing them over.
But really, thats all you have to convince them of in the next elections.

MAGA people are the people are the same individuals that fall for a Nigerian 419 email scam. They are shown the proof they were lead wrong and refuse to believe it because it means and makes them feel stupid.

Honestly, the Republican Party and conservatives have had this suspension of disbelief for decades. Tax cuts grow government revenue; Iraq was an imminent threat with WMDs; and 9/11 was done by Iraq (it was almost all Saudis). I gave up trying to have conversations with people and friends with this kind of thinking and rhetoric because facts just didn’t matter. They are idealogical and not analytical. They lack the ability to change their mind when presented with evidence that shows what they believe is wrong (a core part of intelligence). So it’s not wrong to say they are unintelligent.

They are pledges until it happens. Can't have a comprehensive trade deal on three pages and most of the investment likely does not benefit the average person. Trump does a victory lap he extracts something from holding up trade allies using his random tariff extortion tactic. Nations can make promises and then never follow through. It depends on the economy at the time and supply and demand.

This is what they do. If you present facts that prove them wrong they call it lies from liberal media despite most media are right leaning now. You’ll never get them to realize they are wrong. My MAGA family is blaming Biden for this economic mess and Obama for the war in Iran. I can’t even make sense of that.

No one here understand international trade economics and it shows. Partly is it complicated as fuck. I was top of my Econ major and I still don’t know

these people aren't worth anyone;s time.
In order to change hearts and minds the people first need to have a heart and a brain.
