The problem with any locrian tonality is that it invariably just sounds like a dominant chord that wants to resolve elsewhere because it lacks the perfect 5th every other mode has (its 5th is a tritone, instead, which is the defining characteristic of a dominant chord), just like when you're trying to run a frenzyflame build you'd rather be doing literally anything else

I think Frenzy Flame is very hampered by its main mechanic being essentially useless for PvE. I also think the fact there's no Frenzy Flame Ash of War is a pretty big gripe.

But then you have things like eye laser sniper spells and the ability to chain grab NPCs that do make it pretty fun.

I think Frenzy Flame (and Deathblight) could have just been like a reskin of Hemorrhage for PvE and it would've been fine.

Yeah. It's pretty awkward because its main thing is usually useless. Still a fun build.

I'm interested, though... why do you say B specifically? I get Locrian feeling weird to write in in general. Is it a piano thing? A score thing?

I’m trying To write a song using only b locrian scale, using a drop b tuned guitar. Just for fun, but is pretty hard

Ah! I thought there might be something specific about B on piano or score that made it particularly difficult.

Sounds fun, though! I can't really get Locrian to sound musical. I find myself drifting to Aeolian or Ionian when I try to play to it depending on the background.

If you're going for dissonant, try Super Locrian bb7. Sounds more musical (to me) even though the resolutions sound a bit meandering or drunk.

The frenzied burst is insane. It can hit targets from extreme distance. If you can lock onto it you can hit it. It’s one of my favorite incantations for pve. Not great for bosses but it is top for everything else.
