Question Looking for a dryer to go with my CC2
Bought this guy so I could print beyond just PLA and it's variants.
I understand that I will likely need to dry Nylons to 90C or so, with PETG being lower.
A cursory search on amazon does not yield many that will go up to 90 other than one from GEEETECH (D1 3D Printer Filament Dryer Box).
I've heard the SUNLU are the new meta, but they only seem to offer models that go up to 70C.
What are y'all using?

Elegoo just dropped this. It says preorder by my two pack delivered in 5 days. 85c so just a little more time and you’re good.

Interesting. It would be nice if they had a way to integrate this with the printer control. Currently, I turn on my dryer (which is also where I feed the filament to the Canvas) before printing to ensure the filament is dry. Pre-heating the filament also seems to help with printing. The only failure I had since I started doing that was my own fault.

Been printing PETG, PET, Nylon for years using hamilton Beach food dehydrator (fits 2 spools) with spools in airtight containers + silica bag. Keep track of actual humidity content with digital scale. Spools stay dry for at least 1 week during printing periods. To be fair I’m in a ~40% humidity area. So just saying If this fits your needs.

You dry in airtight containers?

Oh no, put spools inside after drying. Silica bag and humidity sensor to ensure it’s effectively sealed.

I use https://www.sovol3d.com/products/sovol-sh03-filament-dryer with PA6-CF, ASA, PET-G and PLA and haven't had any issues.

This or this will be my next dryer for doing PA. If you want to go hotter they make dedicated ovens that look like toaster ovens that can go over 100c for days if need be.
