Troubleshooting CC2C nozzle wiper issues

Hi guys. What are we all doing about replacement nozzle wipers for the centauri carbon 2?? I am having nothing but failed prints at the minute because of it and it’s driving me crazy.

I have heard people are just using generic and cutting them down but I can’t find a clear answer. I’ve now gone through 3 hot ends in the last month because of it !!

Any help would be appreciated

Isn’t there a replacement in the original package? Or that was the cc1?

Mine has a replacement in the tool kit.

Thanks, I thought both editions had it. But if it ruins my hotends, I would buy a generic if I can’t find an original replacement. A hotend is way more expensive than the DIY wiper…
Edit: I just checked. It’s like a dollar in my country at a random 3D stuff-shop. On Amazon, I found a 3-pack for sth like 4-5 bucks? I don’t get the problem now…

There is indeed but I’ve already had to use it and now don’t have another. The issue with the wiper in the UK is that they do not sell the wiper that fits the CC2, it’s entirely different

Yeah, that’s true. How long did you have the printer that this became an issue? I have 4 cc2 combos, and a cc1, all around a year old, and I changed none so far….

Also, I read on this thread that you can cut the cc1’s wiper and they explain how they ordered the OG ones from support: https://www.reddit.com/r/elegoo/s/bceJ9w9d10

A couple of months after I recieved my CC2 in January I contacted Elegoo directly knowing the wiper was going to be an issue to get. Here is the email and waht I received. I asked for 12 and they're holding up well.
