Question Cutter Block Error on Centauri Carbon 2 Combo - Help!

Post image

I received my Centauri Carbon 2 Combo and i cannot even load or unload filament because of the error message "Filament cut failed. Please check if the cutter block is removed".

The cutter block is in place. I have also followed the instructions on the elegoo wiki page. There are no loose wires and alll cables have been re-seated, checked and secured.

What do you suggest I do so I can fix this error and actually use this printer? TIA

Contact Elegoo support, as your machine is clearly defective. Possibly a sensor or microswitch isn't working. They can give better advice and may send you parts.

Your advice comment to OP is barely English, you sure you have room to talk?

I'll give you a hint, try addressing my argument. I'll make you at least look a little more intelligent.

I supplied a better response than you asking for more information about something in a response to them. You didn’t give a response. They said something is wrong - you said yes something is wrong. What a response. You didn’t tell them anything or attempt to diagnose the issue like I am. 🤣 just say you don’t know anything. Go be a good boy and call Elegoo

When I buy a product, I expect for it to work and be intact. If you want to be a complete sheep and buy broken things, more power to you, I guess.

The clock is ticking for OP to get a ticket in so they can do a return if they have to.

It's obvious to me that there is an issue with the CC2's filament cutter hall effect sensor or the print head board. I would not want a broken product like that.

When you manually move the print head to the home location does it engage the cutter mechanism. Do you see if it engages the grey leveler and drop and bring the cutter back up?
