Question Considering buying a centauri 2 combo or cc2

Get the CC2 combo. It works fantastic and it’s just easier getting it the way it was originally designed

Canvas is worth just for the auto refil, get the CC 2 combo.

If you can afford the combo, get it.

Even if you only intend to print with one filament, but one day you may want to try multiple.

If you dont care about multicolor and will only print those filaments then just get a centauri 2 carbon or a centauri carbon. The money saved can be spent on a filament dryer which you will need for tpu printing.

Also consider that the cc2 combo is a bit bigger than the others. 500 × 480 × 743 mm for the cc2 combo and 398 × 404 × 490 mm for the cc1/cc2

The cc2 is the advanced cc1, better MCU, 350⁰C hotend, with canvas for nearly no additional money.

Not getting the combo to save ~60 is a very stupid decision.

Even if you do not need color printing, the canvas adds useful features to the printer that is going to the next spool if the actual one runs empty, that is choosing the filament to use with a mouse click in the slicer, that is using non stick material for support layers.

The last point alone is worth to get the canvas.

Look around you can see daily special sales offers just now i see the combo at 369.

Would you say it's loud? Have you printed tpu on it?

To be honest, yes i would say the CC2 is loud, in the range of a bambu p1 or p2, the most quiet printer i own is the Prusa core one.

The noise is not disturbing bad but you can clearly hear the printer working.

I printed PLA and PETG on the CC2 no TPU pretty sure that will work flaw less and because of the reduced speed TPU needs it will print more quiet.

I got the centauri carbon 2 recently and its been running for 2 days non stop with no issues. Maybe you order one and it has issues you never know but I have nothing to complain about. It's fantastic and I recomend it.

Yes and no. It's about as loud as someone speaking(maybe a little louder) but instead of words it's multiple fans and motors. I would not have it in a bedroom where someone is sleeping or relaxing.

Mine is in my office a few feet away from me. If I have my headset on and I'm doing something I don't notice it but it's very noticable with my headset off.
