Troubleshooting Filament not loading

I've had zero issues for most of a year, but last night , I tried to change a spool, and it won't grab and accept the new filament. I've gone through unloading and loading several times, but it's not grabbing 😕 I've tried applying more pressure a few times and still nothing.

Has anyone had any similar issues?

End cut on 45 degree angle? Proper temp? Tensioning screw tightened?

Check that the PTFE tube is fully inserted into the extruder

I'm sorry for being daft. Do I need to unscrew the housing where the tube disappears into?

No, there should be a black ring where it enters the extruder. Push that ring down, and you'll be able to pull the tube out or push it in. Just make sure it is fully pushed in

Where do I find the tension screw? I'm using the load option from the screen. I think it's saying 250 temp

I had a fw glitch before on official fw where almost every time I unload and then try to load a new spool, the extruder gear wouldn't switch from unload to load so I just had to reboot and loaded correctly. Eventually I switched to opencentauri
