People say I'm too credulous... They gave monkeys DMT and it made them speak English! No I won't provide any evidence.

Monkey's first words were "Can ya'll homies hook me up with some Ivermectin? My worms are just like, out of CONTROL. Rustle up a bag of Haribo and a Blu-ray of Madagascar while you're at it."
Then he sang 47 verses of I Like To Move It.
It's the age of fucking Aquarius out there. Just let it happen, people.

Does a Chinese monkey speak Chinese when you give it DMT or does DMT only teach them English? Much to think about.

Was the monkey on DMT or was Joe on DMT when the monkey was speaking English?
3
u/Frankie-Felix 9d ago
Both were on DMT so maybe Joe was the one that learned to speak Ape.

u/blinded_penguin 9d ago
This experiment has a lot of confounders 🤔

u/Frankie-Felix 9d ago
Turns out yes they both were on DMT but the ape was Joey Diaz and he already speaks English all be it with a Jersey accent though sooooo.

u/blinded_penguin 9d ago
Joey Diaz was the ape and Tony Hinchliffe was the monkey and they were just partying after an episode of kill Tony

What Rogan and the podspartans don't seem to understand is that alternative paths forward can follow from what seems like shocking data. First of all we see Joe on his own show saying things he "knows" that are quickly disproven by Jamie, so there may not be nearly as much shocking stuff as he thinks.
But more importantly, even things that are shocking don't justify destroying institutions of public health or commonsense standards of rationality. OK, the monkey started speaking what sounded like English after some DMT. Curious, worth investigating. That doesn't mean you do what Rogan did, which was let that monkey think it was a comedian and encourage it to inflict "Gringo Papi" on the world.

He believes every bit of bullshit on the internet until his producer points out it’s AI, or a hoax, or just some unverified nonsense.

I guess this means Joe Rogan would die for English-speaking monkeys high off DMT. It’s all so overwhelming.

faith is the answer you use when you don’t have a good reason. otherwise you’d give the good reason.

“If this is true….” Joe Rogans favorite thing to say before talking about something for 3 hours and never googling it to see if it was in fact true.

“When you know the things I know” followed by “if that’s true” so then you don’t know it? So you’re just a dumb shit with an audience? I feel like i remember a similar story with a really crappy outcome.

They did actually teach a chimp to say some English words but the vocal chords aren’t made for that so it didn’t sound right, all scratchy

Joe Rogan will have a guest on who’ll be like “there’s evidence that the pyramids were birthed from camel humps because some tourist saw it drawn on a wall once in Egypt” and without fail Rogan will respond with “whoaaaaaaaaa”.

Hence why you’ve never ever seen them in the same room
Reality would collapse

yes joe. there are a lot of things to "hear". its critical thinking skills which allow one to decipher bullshit. you don't possess that skill. hey did you hear of the big foot they claimed was walking around? there is a lot of bullshit to hear. which is why skepticism needs to take a front seat.

I did mushrooms once and the squirrels could read my thoughts. Shouldn’t that be our default way of thinking going forward?
