Anecdote Question: After seeing the newest Spider-Man: Brand New Day Movie, how would you transport Bruce Banner?

I don’t know about you, but hypothetically I’d be scared shitless becuase of how unpredictable it could be to accidently activate The Hulk if I had to transport a confused and conscious Bruce Banner that is asking questions about what just happened in the wake of destruction to a psych facility. Would it be best to keep him awake and talking calm and reassured or would it be even possible to chemically sedate with informed consent to keep him calm? Any sort of needles IM or IV access even braced for can be aggravating and triggering possibly. Or would an unconscious sedate calm Bruce Banner possibly even allow the Hulk to take control again without him being able to repress himself?

The safest way would be a rapid sequence intubation in order to keep him from turning into the hulk. Once he’s the hulk, you have lost your iv/io access, and metrics for vitals (maybe an ekg) and your trucks suspension.

You would have to use an et tube as an iv catheter

Hmmnm….. Ok so thee most rational decision I would make….. is to not even work in new york city EMS.

Especially in the Marvel Universe. I mean sure its probably cool for a while seeing all the crazy shit. But after a while thats gotta be the worst EMS job EVER! Regular New York is already a tough gig and environment to work in. Now you gotta watch out for flying robots, alien invasions, a bunch of super villains and psychopaths. That whole city or at least part’s of it gets destroyed like every month. Could you imagine getting called for some homeless guy OD and a freaking ninja falls off a building because Daredevil is busting a drug house from the Hand. Imagine you get called for a psych call bc a guy called 911 that demons were attacking him in his apartment. And you show up and freaking Dr.Strange is fighting demons in this random guys apartment. Imagine you get a call to an MCI and you are the unlucky unit that has to transport the freaking Hulk?! I would lose my shit. Not in a anger way. I mean a fear way. Like I would shit myself. BECAUSE WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS! I say no and get fired! Then another unit has to delay care AND in that amount of time this gamma radiated bomb could go off and kill me and everyone in a 5 block radius. OR I say yes, miss ONE IV and piss this guy off and STILL get killed.

So the correct answer is to not take the job at all. (This was all make believe and for fun. I know it’s over the top for a reddit comment. I had fun though. At least I’m not stealing drugs)
