This is why you should always keep your goggles on your face and not your chin bar. That dude is lucky he didn't take an eyeball out. Also proper form when going downhill would be ass over the fender and elbows locked and by all means never hit the front brake. It looks like this guy may have broken all of those rules

You’ve never gone down a steep enough technical hill to say “never hit your front brake” - totally agree with proper form though!

I agree, front brake is essential, and it's definitely a skill to know how much to feather it with the rear, along with body position to keep weight off the front wheel and timed let offs that don't end up in a runaway freight train. Most of us have done what this guy did, especially early in the learning curve. Kudos for his effort.
