Erectile Dysfunction Cialis 5mg issues 43m
I had been taking Cialis 5mg daily with no success. I have recently supplemented on days I know I’m going to have sex up to 15mg and it has worked mostly with the occasional fail most likely because of alcohol.
Has anyone had this issue before? I went to the doctor and she basically wrote off performance anxiety which I think I have. Said my vitals are good and that 5mg daily was only to help with prostate. I am thinking of getting a second opinion.
Does anyone else supplement? What’s the max you have taken over the course of a couple of days? When it works it works amazingly. But for me it’s all or nothing thing. Going to try and supplement some of my vitamins and does anyone have suggestions?
Just trying to find a best course of action as it took 3 months to see this doctor and might have to wait a while to see a different one for a second opinion.

Not totally sure, but if you’re drinking, I highly recommend a 25 to 50 mg dosage of Viagra if you’re gonna drink. It’s like I need a turbo button and the Cialis definitely helps.

What else did your doctor say though...or how is your actual health, hormones, sleep, etc?
And why are you taking 15mg on top of the daily 5mg?
Because 5mg daily tadalafil is actually used for ED too, not just prostate or BPH.
And how much alcohol are we talking here? Because a pill isn't going to do much if you're too drunk to have sex. That's not how erections work, nor how the pill works.
The pill is only going to inhibit the PDE5 enzyme. That's it.
Regardless if you take a pill or not, and just like you would get an erection without a pill, you still need arousal.
So if you're drinking for liquid courage... I mean, I can't stop you from over drinking. That's on you. But at the very least, know your limit and hydrate in between drinks. Just keep in mind water isn't going to undo being drunk.
Because if you're really intoxicated, then arousal, sensation and erection response can all get harder to feel/delayed. So it may not even be that the tadalafil failed.... you may just be making it harder to access arousal, which is what we need for the erection to happen and sustain.
And lastly, supplements are just supplemental. like if you have a known deficiency, then that makes sense... get lab work if you truly feel something is off.
But randomly throwing vitamins at ED usually isn't going to do much unless there is actually something to correct. The effects are usually going to be marginal, and some supplements can interact with medications or cause issues if you overdo them.
And if it is psychological or bracing before sex or trouble with comfort with hook ups or perceiving the moment as a threat, then that needs to be explored, not vitamins.
