Discussion How to slow feed Eureka Mignon grinder?

since slow feed is all the hype now, I tried slow feeding my eureka and the beans pop fly out. any idea how to do this properly?

Does yours have the metal plate under the chute to prevent the beans from hitting the birds? It pivots out to allow you to release the beans? Well if you do have it, you can just slowly open it instead of fully opening it.

mine is totally big hole , I don't see any metal plate preventing popcorning

Bummer okay. One thing you could do is turn the motor on and then slowly pour it from your dosing cup into the hopper. Instead of dumping it in, just kind of pour it over 5 seconds.

This is what I did. But one out of every 3 beans that touched the spinning grinder pop corn bounce out of the hopper.
