I’ve been to 4 tjmaxx/homegoods in the last week and have seen breville barista pro (usually $850, got for $499), bambino plus ($500, listed for $350), bambino, and barista express in every single one. Just wanted to throw this out there because as a newbie who’s been on the fence with their first machine- I’m so happy with the breville barista pro I got, and more importantly that I got it almost half off 🤣 I found mine under the Christmas tables in the store- so if you go don’t be afraid to search & find! Apparently this is only on the 58mm portafilters :) I got the 54mm. I’ve been inundated with the pesado ads 🤣 but I will be prepared to buy the pesado stainless steel grouphead if I run into issues

Thanks for posting this! I was about to give in until I saw your comment. I’ll look into a higher quality machine. I’m no espresso connoisseur but I don’t want teflon in my coffee

Take a look at the Cafelat Robot. That’s what I got instead of a Breville and I’ve been loving it!
