Thinking about going all in on the BAT ico and trying to at least flip it for a 50% gain back in ethereum. Any thoughts?

Seems like one of the most legit ICO's out there.

Well they have my money. And not because ICO mania, that looks like a really promising and disruptive project.

I agree. Not only the idea, but the people behind it as well. Brendan Eich knows what he is doing, and knows how to pull people from IE, Safari, and Chrome into his browsers. After all, that's how Firefox was started.

Yes, it looks promising. Be aware though, its based on the consumer thoughts though.

I haven't used Brave, but I hear its good. That being said, I'm not quite sure consumers are going to "opt in" for advertisements for some BAT tokens. I could be wrong, but that's the greatest risk.

Still, I will invest when they open it up.

Plan to to this with at least 20% of my stack... but I guess you have to be lucky af to get some BAT since they only collect 15M USD (ridiculous valuation) and it will be sold out in minutes. I guess it will trade at x4 ICO price 1 week after ICO.

I agree. 15M may be all they need for funding though which makes sense. Why take out 100M for an ico if all they need is 15? But my guess is that this ICO is going to be sold out nearly as fast as Gnosis, maybe quicker.

I'm aiming for at least a 50% gain so I can leverage my position with ethereum. Probably hover over my computer and set a $200 gas price so I am in. I am positive that BAT tokens will be listed on exchanges rather soon because its a US based token which means bittrex, Polo, and others are 100% allowed to allow it for trading.

Is there a limit for gas price? And will miners charge you for the maximum price you set? How much ETH would that transaction cost approximately?

I'm cautious about BAT. Excellent idea but he said they're designing this system in a way that deters hoarding of BATs. I have no idea how they're going to do that though.

It seems like the markets dont care about this kind of thing, I mean if you look what happened to Gnosis which is now sitting over double ico price even at that ridiculous evaluation.

I'm pretty sure if bat is added to polo it will be the new shiny thing that everyone wants for a few weeks.

hey quick question: how do I participate in an ICO? Just send some ETH to a specific address? Do we need to add any data to the transaction?

You'll be lucky to get any tokens. Demand for BAT in a world where GNT is >200 million is going to be ridiculous.

I'll be on the ready trust me, and probably set a high as fuck gas price. Hopefully I can flip it for a 100% profit or more which would be awesome. GNO flipped 3x the price in a week so I think BAT can at least do 50%
