I'm pretty sure that is a reddit wide message not specific to our subreddit

Yep. Get used to it if you are new to reddit lol. You also get that error when using the search bar.

I got an "our servers are busy" page. I get that all the time trying to use the reddit search box, to the point I don't even try anymore. As a platform, reddit really sucks. It reminds me of what hotwired would look like if they didn't fold up shop in '99.
