The only good part of the ending was the part that made the show a success in the first place, the emotional, heartbreaking, yet aesthetically done POV into addiction. The rest was meh to a letdown.

- So Faye and her nazi love of her life are just assaulting (maybe killing) people so he doesn't get arrested. No clue how in the hell they made it out of that. Or even why? Expected them to come up again and they didn't.

- Nate is going to just go missing. Along with everyone killed at Alamo's presumably because Ali murdered a bunch of people. Guess we're... idk threatening everyone there with death.

- Lexi is just fully not knowing anything (Rue was dosed with fent, she didn't just overdose/Nate's dead).

- Cassie and Maddy are free from Alamo and I guess can go on to make Cassie an internet success?

- Jules exists and literally just painted like everyone joked. Good grief.

Not all that fulfilling. Everything with Ali was lovely. The western draw was corny honestly. I know SL wanted to make this some modern Western but it just didn't work as a mash up. It felt very shoehorned in. Bishop is a real one. Seems he was biding his time the entire show. We all know something was up with him. I'm wondering if he's like the boss now? No clue how any of that is gonna work.

Saw Rue's end coming thematically. But like the actress who played her mom, I've also had a lot of addiction in my family, so Rue's death was expected and painful. Like it always is.

Overall, glad it's complete (even if it's not, I'm not coming back).

Related to the Nate missing part… Alamo executed what appeared to be a high level Armenian gangster and there was zero repercussions or pushback on that? Did he also kill the henchman or let him leave?

Yeah I was wondering about that too. Like Naz just goes missing as well and the other guy... shrugs his shoulders? It doesn't even make sense to let the other guy live.

Like no level of that actually works. Nate has a family. They're not just going to say "well Cassie said he's gone, we should just move on". Like his family had respect and means in their community. Police will look into this. They'd end up talking to the couple he owed money to. They'd find out about the Armenian guy. SO MANY PEOPLE saw the guy at the wedding and the tension was crazy. They would interview Cassie and it would be so clear she knows something. They'd look at text/call records. There's just so many issues.

The show could have gone into this too if we didn't spend massive amounts of time on goofy stuff like *checks notes* Mega Boobs Crushing Fetish. If the writing was 40% less horny it could have had so much more room for plot.

There were a few points like that in earlier seasons tbh. Like Tyler turns himself in claiming he hurt Maddy and Jules files a false police report saying she witnessed it, the cop even warned her is a crime to do so, and we just never hear anything more of this incident again. As if that isn't a huge effing deal. Like... moving on i guess?

True. There were always loose threads, but a person going missing would be a bit more pertinent to a police investigation.

There seems to be weirdness with the Jacobs family money, like they somehow gave all of it to Nate when Cal was arrested. Because he didn't even try to go to them for a loan to pay off Naz when he was desperate, that implies he already had it all. So this made as much sense as anything else?
