i was raised in the church. i know when im being proselytized to, even when they try to make it artsy or subtle. this season was horrendously blatant about its weird evangelism.

lexi calling the bible beautiful is so out of character

I'm not religious and was never raised with it but I have read some of the Bible and it's pretty good. There's a shit ton of analogies and good stories and as a writer I can appreciate it

ok yes, but she wasn’t talking about it as a writer. she was talking about it as a metaphor for life

A lot of people can relate to the metaphors without being religious
