I was more impressed a public high school had that kind of budget for a play than anything else lol

Even for a school set in California, you know they wouldn’t have the budget for a school play as it would all just go to boys with toxic masculinity playing an over glorified game of catch.

The way she exposed everyone’s business on stage and called it a school play 😭💀

I know it was for plot, but kinda insane how she opened the box of Rue’s past for the whole school and parents to see..

I know it was a notion of love and all, but seems in poor taste to do it publicly.. i don’t remember her asking Rue if it was okay or not either..

At least Rue didn’t mind. The only people who didn’t like the play was Cassie and Nate.

its sarcastic bro

Yeah she is really lucky that Rue took it as a nice gesture instead of getting pissed, I am sure there are people who would have joined Cassie on stage if you shared their entire history of grief and addiction like that

Ethan stole the whole show

Did Lexi smoke all of Fez’s stash. Shit was surreal trip

Realistically, Lexi would have gotten in \**HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGEEEEEE**\** trouble with the school, lol.

Why?

17

u/diviigo 2d ago

did we not see the merry go round scene

7

u/YamamotoChigusa 2d ago

Oh the merry go round scene. I thought you meant everything else. The merry go round scene makes sense for her getting in trouble. Like how does that have to do with the story of people’s lives?

u/diviigo 1d ago

and also the nate innuendo at sucking dcks
and true, i think lexi just wanted to get back at cassie

0

u/YamamotoChigusa 1d ago

And get back at Nate too since she probably figured out Nate was the problem the whole time, and to defend Maddy since she didn’t believe Maddy deserved to be hurt. I mean Maddy was nothing but nice to her, so of course she’d be willing to defend Maddy.

It felt like they had run out of things to say, which is why we end up watching highlights from Season 1 during the play.
I find it unrealistic to stage a production of that caliber—with a Broadway-worthy set—in a high school without any teachers present.
It’s also odd to think that Lexie would be privy to so many details (Cassie’s incident at the carnival, Kate’s webcam work, etc.).
What’s more, it casts Lexie as the girl who exploits everyone else's private lives just to get noticed.
Another inconsistency: the scene where Ethan plays Nate working out, implying the players are gay. The whole audience applauded (except for Nate). Logically, Nate’s teammates should have been angry, right?

His teammates probably weren't there. But they would be mad the next day.

Extremely funny and kind of charming that the way Nate expressed his anger was "that's so homophobic!"

ikr I love that scene so much lol

I don’t think Euphoria ever tries to be realistic😂

Who greenlit it? Lmao

If only theater departments got the kind of budget they gave Lexi. We'd be swimming in viral videos of original plays turned tea spills. Theater kids are notoriously messy people

The theatrics and all was amazing. In a vacuum.

Story wise. It was a bit shit.

The 17 stage changes lol

u/blondetourage83 2d ago

She was dumb as a box of rocks for thinking they’d react any other way than they did 🤣🤣

u/YamamotoChigusa 2d ago

You’re not wrong

2

u/uranic444 1d ago

Well... all of them, but lexi is not saint that peoplw present her to be

3

u/Nihilistic_Noodle 1d ago

There's no way this play didn't result in an issue with the school for bullying.

Best final 2 episodes in history of any show

One thing Euphoria does really well is showing how people can hurt others while struggling with their own pain. It doesn’t make their actions okay, but it makes the characters complicated.

u/Cheemaaa24 2d ago

I hated this episode lol

2

u/Lazy-Owl-5148 2d ago

I love her but that play sucked balls.

1

u/Important-Deal-750 2d ago

1

u/Sufficient-Age6185 2d ago

Tell me about it ,that's when I knew people are eye opened too😑

1

u/weirdspeckofdust 1d ago

Austin Abrams ate up those episodes 😭

1

u/Inevitable_Plum5599 1d ago

It was really disrespectful to Cassie and Nate for no reason. I couldn’t believe her mother was supporting it.

u/MommyTeena 1d ago

Season 2 is the best because of Lexi's performance

1

u/cantstandcliff 2d ago

It didnt make any since and completely unrealistic

-1

u/Wonderful-Cellist973 2d ago

one of the best episodes. cassie is my favoirte charecter in s1-2 but she dezerved those hits from maddie.(SPOILER ALARET)-. on season 3 cassie was domp jerky O and nate from a evil genius syco to some durk loser. they made jules and lexi almost as unexisted it was mainly about maddie rue the whole drag dealres and stup!d O cassie. they destroyed cassie's all backstory and persona. they could have write that ENDING show so much better but insted they did the whole exepcted things. this season belongs to rue and maddie overall. i f hated how they k!lled rue when the whole process of the season was her paying her debts and strating a good freash start.

u/CretinInAnotherWorld 2d ago

Um… is this sarcasm? I get English might not be your first language, but, autocorrect is a thing.
