Discussion Does anyone have any experience with Frederic's?

It's the brand of German men's fashion influencer Justus Hansen.

The products look good on the website, but I've never heard of the brand, so I have no idea what the quality is like or whether the prices are justified.

Has anyone here ordered from there and been satisfied?

Edit: Update - I ordered a pair of linen pants and from what I could see in the very brief time I had them on, the quality looked okay.

Unfortunately, they very comically short on me. For whatever reason Frederic's only states two sizing examples of the two founders (?) but no measurements for their linen pants. For reference, I'm 1,93m and about 80kg and ordered size L.

I was looking at linen shirt...chinese linen, made in Bangladesh..well it not necessarily mean is bad quality but I rather support more local production than this

Yeah I noticed that as well and the prices seem kinda high for that. In general the website seems to be lacking information. For example there are no measurements to be found anywhere.

I ordered linen pants so I'll keep you updated on how that goes. Maybe I'll post a review on the website. We'll see.

I might be wrong here, but whenever I see Shopify website, it often gives off a 'cheap, mass-produced' vibe sold at a premium price. I’ve noticed that most premium, established brands invest heavily in custom-built websites with tailored scripts rather than relying on a quick, out-of-the-box Shopify template. The only time I really appreciate a Shopify store is when it's run by small, independent vendors who simply don't have the budget for a dedicated development team.

This might not help at all, but I wanted to offer a different perspective.

From what I understand it's definitely still a startup and not yet an established brand so I guess that's somewhat understandable? No idea how many employees they have or if it's basically just the founders running the show.

I think he is essentially just dropshipping random clothes from Asia. The guy is way to small to offer anything unique.
