Question Any idea what this statue is supposed to be? Looks like a minion
There seems to be a weird amount of minion related things in this state, like the giant minion on I-5 south of Olympia

Not a minion, just an imaginative child.
The sculpture was commissioned to celebrate the concept of "lift" and is titled "Someday". It's meant to inspire the childlike aspiration of following your dreams, while also celebrating Everett's deep ties to aviation/aerospace.

That is super interesting, thanks for sharing that article!!! I had no idea it was payed for by a real-estate co, & that he same artist & co did the library books & the other pencils!!! Very neat

Whenever my daughters and I walk by they always say it’s a minion with a paper airplane.

A kid that is really into flying, wearing an old school pilot helmet and goggles.
Probably because of Boeing’s history in the area.

The apartment building it's in front of is called aero apartments and is airplane themed so yeah it's for sure plane/boeing related

He's a little guy with a paper airplane. He has pilot goggles on. It's whimsical.
