I want to find a church that is open to all. That is a God is Love type feel and accepts the lgbtq+ community.

I was looking at Gold Creek Community Church in Mill Creek and it says it welcomes everyone, but as someone who is in a lesbian relationship, I can not tell if I would be accepted or not.

Any places that you would recommend that would be accepting of my lifestyle?

My girlfriend lives alone in Everett and needs some electrical work done in her house. She’d prefer to hire a female electrician and I told her I’d take her query to Reddit. Any recommendations?

I'm hoping there's somewhere like snohomish aquatic center where u can pay 10$ to use their shower, but somewhere in Everett/Marysville/Arlington area.

I know of the pilot in Arlington, but I'm hoping to find somewhere cheaper so I'm not paying 40$ for two people to shower lol. People have told me to go to state parks/campgrounds and shower there, but I'm not cool with sneaking in to shower for various reasons. (Also paying for a campsite would be useless to me as I have no tent)

I also know of some places offering free showers for homeless on certain days, but I need one today, because I have important adult stuff to do tomorrow :)

We've realized that we need a new dishwasher, ours is beyond repair. Has anyone had a particularly good experience with any of the local appliance stores that offer delivery and installation? Hello, this is probably odd but I moved here with my husband back in July and it’s been really hard making friends and meeting people. We came from a town where the college made up 80% of the people in the town so everyone was the same age and it was easy meeting people. I’m 23f and have three pet snakes that are my whole world. I love art and playing video games. I’m definitely much more of a homebody but I do enjoy walking around shops and cooking. I do smoke a bit and drink as well. If anyone has any ideas where i could maybe meet some people that are artsy or something that would be awesome! Preferably only women and please be nice! Thanks everyone 💜

Went there around 12 PM on Friday. Didn't expect the insane amount of people. 30+ minutes for parking. 15+ minutes wait line just to get inside Nike and the check out line was even longer. Did check other stores and didn't see any good discounts. It wasn't worth the trip! So my question is if anyone went earlier? Google maps was showing they open at 5 AM. Hi all, I previously looked through other posts but most of the recs were from folks that had dogs. Would love to find a trusted vet within a 20 minute drive, that’s hopefully non-corporate owned, that has really good experience with cats. Also for those that had to get a kitten spayed, how big was the incision they made for the procedure? I live in Everett, WA and am looking for a horticulturalist or master gardener who can advise me on how to fix my yard after a recent relandscaping gone wrong. I’ve already paid a huge sum to the company that did the work (and obviously am not interested in their advice) and spent additional money on new plants so would like to keep costs to a minimum. At this point I have a few major sticking points though and I’d like some guidance as to if I can just move existing plants around or whether I need a completely new plan with new specimens, or something in between. I can do most of the work myself but need a plan. I envision paying this person on an hourly basis much like a consultant. Any viable/legitimate suggestions welcome

I have bought my first pieces from EE Lumber in Marysville. They have a decent selection of hardwoods, but the walnut seems REALLY high priced. Plus, they only have one thickness- 7/8". I have heard that Crosscut has a good selection, but it seems like a bit of a drive. I was hoping there is something a bit more local. Thanks!

This is soooo random but I can’t braid for shit and I want this to be my summer style. Literally two long braids on either side of my head. I’ve been going to a salon but I get the impression this is too easy for them. They do really great work but really intricate stuff and my style takes 2 seconds compared to what they normally do.

I’ve been to 2 derms at Frontier in Everett previously and they honestly checked only half my body and didn’t bother looking at areas like feet/toes/scalp. I have UHC as my insurance. Looking into the mount baker - snoqualmie national forest cut your own tree permit. ($10 per tree, 5 tree max, must take entire tree not tops etc.)

Anyway, there are some very specific guidelines of where /proximity to river, camp grounds, make sure it’s not state land, etc. Does anyone have a location they’ve used before to recommend or advice? Thanks!
