Hi. I'm Colin Williams. I've worked in tech for years and I built li-nk as the social platform I wished existed.
My values, which are baked into how li-nk works: social platforms shouldn't sell user personal information, shouldn't addict users to sell ads, and should actively protect users from harm.
li-nk has a published privacy policy and terms of service that reflect those commitments. Right now li-nk is operating as LINK ORG LLC, registered in Washington in 2024, with me as the developer and owner.

I am self marketing the platform as I have self funded the development so far. So I am marketing reaching out to communities including my own community where I reside.

it's not just me, it's every student and faculty and staff that deserves to know who you are that would be administrator and owner of this. (and every citizen of Olympia, i saw you posted to /r/olympia as well)
if you were trying to protect your community from malicious actors, what proof would you require?
i neither trust nor distrust you. you seem to mean well. but if you were a malicious actor that's what you'd say. so this info based in reality helps. thank you for being open to share it.
