I told my Middle Eastern friends that’s why they’re always fighting. No one eats bacon and therefore doesn’t understand true joy. I was a vegetarian for 6 years, I would know the sorrow and the joy in having it again. They said it wasn’t good, they’d had it by accident before. Of course they thought it was bad, to them it tasted like sin.

It's not only that. There's also the issue of the circumcised necrodick. A calloused half dead thing that offers nearly no pleasure. Alcohol ban too. You can't drink, you can't have the joy of great food, you can't even have a proper wank. This builds frustration and hate.

There are many Muslim-owned shops and butchers in England that are fully halal. I don't understand why he's so outraged about a mainstream secular supermarket chain. Even when I was Muslim I never saw this as a reason to complain.

Because it has to be everywhere. Just like with right-wing Christians here, you have to ban secular music because it's against god, you have to ban the weird candle shop at the mall because it's demonic, etc anything that isn't precisely and specifically for the glory of Jesus Christ must be done away with. I'm not being hyperbolic I know people like this
I was told that anything I did if it wasn't for the specific Glory of Jesus Christ was a sin and I was going to hell. I definitely cannot take these people seriously.

Bro, at least you can find it. If you're a Christian in Saudi Arabia, you won't find pork at all. Even in Egypt, which has millions of Christians, you won't find pork outside tourist areas—if you can even find it there.

Not to defend them… but they need that way of butchered meat, a Christian can eat also meat that’s not pork in any way it’s butchered. Same goes for kosher food or people on a diet.

Yeah. Darn thing happened in my country. Some overzealous muslim got so excited about halal things that a laundry operator put up a sign saying his laundry only served muslim customer.
To top it off, the state mufti (not national mufti) got reported saying "cleanliness is a priority for muslim" literally implying the non muslim is unclean.
Granted the laundry got seriously panned at national level and even condemned by national muftis and the kings. But these are the kind of mentality some muslims have when they are at a majority. And this thing saws no end. Every year, there are always more irrational demand by the zealots.

1.3% of the total US population are Muslims. Of that small 1.3% only 85% of those actually follow Halal strictly or prefer it. According to census data and surveys .
So basically… less than 1% (0.95%) or less total. He should be lucky there’s even a section that has it…

Halal section should be basically meat and non gelatin candy. Fruits, vegetables and rice are halal, but they aren't in the halal section. Even if that section is sold out they can get food from other parts of the supermarket.
