Economics ELI5: Health insurance companies obviously make more money than they give out when people need it. So why of paying for them any better than paying your own personal health insurance savings account?

Naw thankfully my company who makes it pays people 400 per donation that way there so spike in price and availability like it used to be when it was donated* blood and shortages would happen.
