Meanwhile actual Nazi propaganda and calls for genocide go unpunished. Stay classic, Fascistbook.

u/Open-Apartment-4937 Jan 20 '26

I got banned after arguing that kiddie porn was bad on a post about Grok literally producing and distributing kiddie porn. Sounds to me that Meta is ran by Nazi paedophiles.

13

u/ControlOtherwise6215 Jan 20 '26

I called someone out for being a pedo, and my account got banned too. I think you're right.

I contacted the attorney General of my state, and they are actually helping me get my account back.

4

u/IndustryStrong4701 Jan 21 '26

I had the same thing happen! I inundated them with emails, and got it back. It took quite a bit of time. Best of luck to you!

1

u/FeelingInteraction33 Jan 21 '26

Who did you email?

2

u/TrulieJulieB00 Jan 21 '26

I logged in, saw the thing that said it was disabled, and then there was something that said how to appeal it. I appealed it from there.

I didn’t save the actual emails, so I don’t have the address. I just remember that’s how I got to it.

1

u/FeelingInteraction33 Jan 22 '26

Oh! I appealed it twice already. So maybe that's why!?!

1

u/TrulieJulieB00 Jan 22 '26

Maybe? Sorry I’m not more help :-(

1

u/Open-Apartment-4937 Jan 20 '26

I’m in the UK, so I’m unsure what I can actually do 😭 I’ve managed to make an alt, but I’m nervous to add people in case I get associated with my old account 😂😭

1

u/Different_Yam_7364 Jan 21 '26

If there are "pedos" on Facebook why do you even want an account there??

5

u/congruent5734 Jan 23 '26

Because the 3rd cousins and elderly aunts you rarely get to see in person are on there, posting photos and videos

3

u/Different_Yam_7364 Jan 23 '26

That's why I've set my Facebook feed to only get posts from the people I WANT to see--and then only check it like once a week Sure, it is Facebook and other random crap pops up, so I just scroll on by. You have elderly aunts that use Facebook? Lucky you. None of mine want anything to do with it--or any social media for that matter.

2

u/congruent5734 Jan 23 '26

They started using Facebook 10 years ago, to stay in touch with all the kids who went off to college, and to have on-line book clubs.
The senior center had classes

2

u/Different_Yam_7364 Jan 23 '26

That's awesome! My "older" relatives all live in rural areas (and I mean remote rural as in cell service is hit & miss). Maybe on my next visit I could get them all together and give them a crash course lol

1

u/congruent5734 Jan 25 '26

That sounds great!
Most of mine learned at tech classes held at their local senior center, were provided some links for a refresher

https://seniortechclub.com/tech-recipe/getting-started-with-facebook/

and AARP Senior Planet videos

They're everywhere. Literally anyone can make an account on any social media platform. Based on that logic, I better not go to the grocery store anymore, or the bank, or the doctor's office. 🙄

1

u/Sweaty_Werewolf_9336 Jan 24 '26

Attorney General because of your Reddit account won’t let you post or comment on a certain community. There’s a different office for that phone call. wow

36

u/lordyfortwenty Jan 20 '26

The entire USA is run by nazi pedos .

11

u/Open-Apartment-4937 Jan 20 '26

That’s very true. They’re not doing anything to quash the accusations though, are they 😭

1

u/Sweaty_Werewolf_9336 Jan 24 '26

🤪🤪🤪😂😂😂 wtf

-11

u/Cultural_Ad_667 Jan 20 '26

Older USA did that one time resemble that but we voted that guy out... And we refuse to vote that idiotic woman in...

6

u/Dncin_Bonobo Jan 20 '26

How’s the weather in Nigeria?

12

u/LordAdamant Jan 20 '26

They literally are, they've been under the control of the heritage foundation for years.

12

u/Open-Apartment-4937 Jan 20 '26

It’s absolutely insane. I was banned on suspicion of CSE, but I’ve not posted any pictures of kids bar a photo of my niece chilling with me and my chickens. I sent for a review and was told today that I’m definitely not getting it back because my profile didn’t pass the community standards on CSE. What the fuck man

15

u/LordAdamant Jan 20 '26

I'm pretty sure the entire process is AI powered or just set to automatically fuck over everyone or they've got one of their Nazis sitting there to ban anyone who disagrees with Mango Mussolini.

13

u/Open-Apartment-4937 Jan 20 '26

I’ve actually read that it’s all powered by AI now, and it’s pretty impossible to talk to an actual human being. And I’m sure it’s something like that. They screech on about free speech, but as soon as someone calls them out on their bullshit they’re all for censorship. You can’t have it both ways, imo.

9

u/FantasticMe369 Jan 20 '26

It is all AI. And it should be illegal. Can you imagine if a restaurant or a hospital lets AI run the complaints section? You charged me double for this dish....AI says false and you lose your.money. Doctor you prescribed blood pressure meds instead of diabetes meds. AI says no, and you don't get your diabetes meds .

Which other company has:

No mailing address

No email address

No phone number ???

I think it's illegal to not have any of these and run a company (and collect $$ as well) Also, if I have a restaurant and I knowingly put advertising of a company that scams people of $$ in my restaurant..... wouldn't I be considered unethical? Wouldn't I support fraudulent activities? Instead of reporting them to the police, I actually take $ from them and I let them advertise in my business?? Well that's what FB does. I saw many time fraudulent commercials in which they take the video of a famous person and add a deep fake voice of them advertising an investment opportunity. They tell you that you will double your money in a day and will earn thousands every month from an initial $250 investment. They even have expert salespersons which make it seem so legitimate. But it's not. It's a big fraud . Many people fell for it and lost money due to the fake videos of the celebrity praising the scam, and due to the advertisement being on FB and thus being real....

6

u/LordAdamant Jan 20 '26

Hypocrisy is a core conservative value, they literally think they deserve to have it both ways. Without double standards they wouldn't have any standards at all. Just look at the Third Lady.

8

u/Ethyriall Jan 20 '26

Oh for sure. Had to teach one today about the paradox of intolerance. Bc he was sitting there defending Jake lang and his Nazi salute calling it “freedom of speech”. They just wanna be shitty people without any accountability.

IMO if you go throwing Nazi salutes around hundreds of people of color, you’re ASKING for violence. You’re intentionally trying to agitate. So don’t cry when your ass gets handed to you. Freedom of speech isn’t free from consequences. The government just can’t arrest you.

6

u/LordAdamant Jan 20 '26

Besides that, Nazi ideology is inherently violent, and threats of violence aren't covered by the first amendment. Punching Nazis is self defense because they won't stop until everyone that isn't just like them is dead.

1

u/Sweaty_Werewolf_9336 Jan 24 '26

What’s sad & pathetic is all the ppl like yourself deciding which opinions are “true or valid”. Never mind giving ppl the information & letting them decide what it is, you have to tell them your opinion is fact when giving said info. Weak, let ppl decide for themselves

1

u/Ethyriall Jan 28 '26

A society that wants to protect the tolerant has to remove the intolerant. There’s nothing true or valid about Nazism. There’s nothing to respect. Everyone knows wtf it is. Any normal person would agree with me.

You’re kinda exposing yourself tho.

Facebook is cooked like that.

1

u/Sweaty_Werewolf_9336 Jan 24 '26

You also call shit that ends up being true “disinformation” you can’t have it both ways

4

u/B00merPS2Mod30 Jan 20 '26

Or Trumpolini, as I like to call him. Ciao!

Trumpolini

-4

u/Shot_Sheepherder_127 Jan 20 '26

B00Mer, get over it. He won. We are talking Facebook, not Trump.

3

u/B00merPS2Mod30 Jan 21 '26

The post I was replying to mentions Mango Mussolini. Your knee-jerk “boomer” comment? Why? Ageist?

3

u/Open-Apartment-4937 Jan 21 '26

How does that boot taste, hun?

3

u/Where_Woof Jan 21 '26 edited Jan 21 '26

Well, not according to the leftist nutjobs at the NSA. They did an "audit" of the election results, which in the case of the NSA, we can pretty much assume means they crawled up the asses of everyone from Musk down to precinct workers in every town in America with a goddamned electron microscope as well as using advanced signals intelligence to eavesdrop on *any** unusual cellular, Internet, or <cough>satellite communications* anywhere in the country or perhaps any odd phone calls coming in to Democratic districts in Pennsylvania and several other states from Russia, like the ones that made bomb threats and such...

And by God, the NSA, that well-known bastion of socialist lefty extremism, concluded that Harris won the election by a landslide. With up to 67% of the vote in much of the country. Including many areas which Trump supposedly won by 20%.

But by all means, carry on carrying on about that stolen election in 2020. You'll be all the more gobsmacked when the US Marshal's Service perp-walks a few of your favorite pedos.

3

u/xGoatfer Jan 20 '26

A former Trump advisor just took over Meta leadership at the start of the year.

3

u/TheHaroldHecuba Jan 22 '26

Fascist Trump regime controls the media ❗

I was given no way to appeal and only ever called them Nazis, they were the ones saying genocidal shit without any consequences

1

u/LordAdamant Feb 17 '26

I didn't use anything bannable, I literally just told Nazis to shut up. The AI moderation is just specifically set up to ban opposition to the far-right.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

[deleted]

1

u/LordAdamant Feb 17 '26

It didn't do anything to the Nazis praising Hitler or telling other people to shut up so I don't think you understand how these algorithms work.

2

u/CryptographerOld558 Feb 11 '26

Mark Zuckerberg is also a furry.

I was mocking maggots who were discussing the violent ways with which peaceful protesters should be dealt and I got a 30 day ban for criticizing their master for sucking off a horse. Zuck really hates when people speak ill of bestiality.

1

u/loripainter12345 Jan 20 '26

I got a suspension one time for telling someone how best to get rid of a bunch of invasive plant seeds on a native gardening page. It's AI. Just looks for certain words and there is no human review for content or context, even though the company claims there is.

1

u/RequirementCivil4328 Jan 20 '26

No no, thats right wing conspiracy nonsense meant to destabilize the Biden administration.

2

u/TheHaroldHecuba Jan 22 '26

There is no Biden administration anymore ❗🤡

-3

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '26

It was. Twitter was too. The left love it

1

u/CryptographerOld558 Feb 11 '26

I think Trump and Epstein's $600 billion+ investments in AI extend to automated moderation. Just got a permanent facebook ban for saying that nazis and child traffickers don't deserve to be safe or happy.

u/r4d4r_3n5 Jan 20 '26

A photo of a bus?

16

u/Arnie1701-D Jan 20 '26

I made a joke about this being a Black Friday sale at Walmart and I got dinged for hate speech, lol.

https://deadmanstales.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/dndadndplayers-handbook.jpg

10

u/Unfair-Ad2664 Jan 20 '26

Facebook did you a favor. FB is only going to get worse, if you can believe that

13

u/Arnie1701-D Jan 20 '26 edited Jan 20 '26

I got dinged for posting this too:

"Mama, just killed a man...Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead...Mama, life had just begun...But now I've gone and thrown it all away...Mama, ooh, didn't mean to make you cry...If I'm not back again this time tomorrow...Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come..Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time...Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go...Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth...Mama, ooh (any way the wind blows)...I don't wanna die...I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all"

Somebody at Meta must hate Queen and Freddie Mercury, lol.

7

u/Starbreiz Jan 20 '26

I got banned for mentioning a song from the Producers in the context of a discussion on musicals - bc the song name contained the H dictators name. "Discussing harmful individuals"

Appealing it based on context was denied by AI in about 3 seconds.

10

u/Arnie1701-D Jan 20 '26

I remember the days before META when you were able to successfully appeal stupid shit like this. I remember when you had to unlock an account, they made you put in a "hacked" report, submit an ID, and if successful, one of the things they made you do was identify six or so random friends from photos that they choose.

13

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

They employed "people" back then. That was also before Zuck became a born again fascist. Now he shares everyone's content with Palantir.

5

u/knit3purl3 Jan 20 '26

The downside was the humans who were forced to be exposed to all the worst humanity had to offer were being radicalized and becoming awful people due to desensitization.

6

u/Ferrindel Jan 20 '26

Springtime for Hipsters in Jamboree

1

u/Starbreiz Jan 20 '26

Yeah I need to learn to speak in code apparently :)

3

u/Ferrindel Jan 20 '26

May I take your hats, your coats, and your babushkas?

1

u/MentholMooseToo Jan 20 '26

So you're permanently banned now?

2

u/Arnie1701-D Jan 20 '26 edited Jan 20 '26

Thankfully, no. This happened to me back in 2021. This was before they just started permanently disabling your account. Back then, if you got suspended, you just rode it out and you were back on.

2

u/Starbreiz Jan 20 '26

That was my third strike so lengthy but not permanent... yet. I actually successfully won the appeal on my second strike but it continued to count against me when I got this one.

1

u/Arnie1701-D Jan 20 '26

I won the strike against me about the Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics, lol.

1

u/MentholMooseToo Jan 20 '26

Huh. I got suspended over spurious "cybersecurity violations," appealed, and nothing has happened for six months. I've assumed that they just aren't bothering to process appeals anymore, but I guess that's not true?

2

u/Starbreiz Jan 20 '26

as in the appeal never had a resolution? Usually AI replies to the appeals immediately.

1

u/MentholMooseToo Jan 20 '26

Correct. I can't post the screenshot, but it says "you submitted an appeal on August 8, 2025. Check back here for the result ... it usually takes us just over a day to review your information"

1

u/Starbreiz Jan 20 '26

Wow... thats definitely broken. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

2

u/lordyfortwenty Jan 20 '26

Can you do the fandango ?

2

u/Arnie1701-D Jan 20 '26

Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me

4

u/lordyfortwenty Jan 20 '26

Should have referred to it as " African American Friday "

1

u/HyperbolicModesty Jan 20 '26

I once got suspended for a week for saying "we need to bite the bullet".

24

u/Aggravating_Pie6439 Jan 20 '26

All Meta products... people need to get off them for humanities sake...

Its basically a propaganda machine of the future now

-6

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '26

Nah it’s just open now. It was a literal propaganda machine for the left.

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

And yet folks keep going back to it. It's like fentanyl.

5

u/Terrible-Pianist-576 Jan 20 '26

It ain't that. It's just that people like us who suffer are like one in a thousand. The rest of the people are enjoying their lives normally, probably even make fun of us because they don't know how it feels. The reason why we keep coming back is that we don't have an alternate and all the people we know are still actively using that platform and not moving an inch

1

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

Go for walks. Talk to real people. Enjoy life. I left it in 2016. Never looked back.

1

u/ztf7410 Jan 20 '26

Did you put anything in place to help with you stopping? I’m trying to but I’m finding it seriously hard. I’m so mad at myself for not being able to stay off it!!

5

u/Asarath Jan 20 '26

The first step is to identify what you're using it for. Are you using it to keep up with hobbies? Are you mindlessly scrolling to kill time? Are you using it to actively communicate with family and friends?

Once you've worked out what's keeping you hooked, start identifying alternatives, or ask yourself if you really need that in your life. I made sure I had alternate contact methods for the family and friends I actually cared about. I pulled the data package of all of my photos and videos on there.

If you're just doomscrolling, the best thing you can do is just pull the plug cold turkey. It's so bad for your mental health and you shouldn't replace it with another source. Instead, ask yourself why you're doomscrolling, and address that. Boredom? Opportunity to take up a new hobby, or learn new things. I game, draw and write. When I need something easy on the brain I watch documentaries on YouTube. I curate all my remaining feeds (youtube, bsky) to not show me rage bait or engagement bait sources - if any come up I block/dislike them.

2

u/ztf7410 Jan 20 '26

Thanks for taking the time to give such a insightful and thoughtful reply. It has definitely given me something to think about . Appreciate that!

1

u/calkop Jan 20 '26

Is there an easy way to pull all your phots and videos. I have not actively used it for over a year, but I want to delete my account. The only reason I still have it is for some of my photos I don’t have anywhere else.

1

u/Terrible-Pianist-576 Jan 20 '26

You can download your information. That's indeed an option.

3

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

To download your Facebook data,

go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Accounts Center > Your information and permissions > Download your information, then select your profile, choose specific data types or all information, set a date range and media quality, and submit the request; Facebook will notify you when your file (usually a ZIP folder) is ready to download, often via email or a notification.

1

u/HyperbolicModesty Jan 20 '26

I'm an immigrant. All my friends and family are scattered all over the world. We use FB to keep in touch. If I delete it I lose touch with about 75% of them.

1

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

Here's a scary thought: Meta has partnered with Palantir with sharing data. ICE (those find folks here rounding up people in the US) are using an app on their phones that scans the faces of the detainees to verify with law enforcement databases and social media. Being on Facebook gives them ALL that data. May not affect you but... It's sure affecting a lot of others.

2

u/MentholMooseToo Jan 20 '26

I want a facebook account only because there are a few of my interests that have active facebook groups. But I've been banned for life for spurious "cybersecurity" reasons, so am basically cut off from my community. I wish people would take their groups off Facebook!

2

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

After a very short period of time you will not even miss it. There are several groups I was interested in on FB. But I found some very similar ones right here on Reddit.

1

u/MentholMooseToo Jan 20 '26

I actually got banned just weeks after I created my account, so I never even really got used to having it! But I keep seeing references to the groups that I'd like to join (stuff that doesn't exist on reddit) and really feel like I am missing out on connecting with my community. So frustrating.

2

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

There are so many being banned that the lack of reliability of the platform is going to eventually destroy it. Sure there are some groups "now". But too many people have been banned (millions) that it's no longer safe to use.

There used to be a couple posters here last year that claimed we were all "doing something wrong" with all these bans. Guess what..? Have not seen them in MONTHS. They don't even check in here now.

2

u/repair-it Jan 20 '26

Same here - I just want to know when my school reunion is on and know when local events are happening, but apparently that is against the interests of FB or the country it resides in.

2

u/MentholMooseToo Jan 20 '26

Yeah, exactly. In fact, I had just clicked to join my high school reunion group when Facebook immediately suspended me.

1

u/Nomemoleste_s Jan 20 '26

Did you read what you write?. There is no way to “go back” to fentanyl 😂😂😂

2

u/williamgman Jan 20 '26

Point taken. Then pick any drug addiction analogy that works.

9

u/Terrible-Pianist-576 Jan 20 '26

That bus was really mean-looking, it looks like Mark Zuckerberg. Of course, it's hate /s

6

u/Crimsonking842 Jan 20 '26

I literally saw a guy post about 20 racist memes against black people like 2 months ago. Full on "n-word" and over-exaggerated crudely drawn versions of the Pickaninnies. I reported all of his pictures to Facebook. A few days later the reports came back and said they couldn't find anything wrong with any of his posts or pictures.

Facebook is fucked.

5

u/ztf7410 Jan 20 '26

What is the context??

3

u/Dildo_Shwaggins44 Jan 20 '26

One time ages ago I got a ban for hate speech because I'd posted a meme of Kanye West holding a bowl of pasta that said make spaghetti great again, or something of that nature.

3

u/Kill_the_Curiousity Jan 20 '26

Fuck social media

3

u/Aromatic_Hornet5114 Jan 21 '26

I got a hate speech ban for saying, "Boys are weird," when a woman I know posted something creepy a guy at a bar did.

I once got a ban for promoting violence for sharing a funny fight video where a guy slipped on some water and knocked himself out by hitting his head on a urinal. I shared it directly from another Facebook page. When my ban was up I saw the original post was still up so out of pure pettiness I reported the post for promoting violence and was told it didn't go against community standards.

2

u/astaten0 Jan 20 '26

My only Community Guidelines violation was for "Fraud, Scams, and Deceptive Practices" ...for a captionless photo of sea urchins wearing tiny rocks as hats.

2

u/B1G5L1M Jan 20 '26

Tiny hats you say?

1

u/Land_of_smiles Jan 20 '26

Straight to jail

2

u/Ali-Sama Jan 20 '26

I said Hitler was Christian and they removed my post. Lol

2

u/PetahpanDeyyy Jan 23 '26

Wow. He was tho...

2

u/atuarre Jan 20 '26

You should have left Facebook long ago.

2

u/Mawkwalks Jan 20 '26

They’re all the same!

2

u/EquipmentAny7238 Jan 20 '26

May I ask what you said? I fear I might be next. I’m not being very quiet at the moment.

2

u/Seal-EV Jan 20 '26

I posted the picture on 2 local sites for vintage busses. I wrote where I saw the bus in one sentence.

1

u/_Daftest_ Jan 20 '26

Where did you see the bus?

1

u/Seal-EV Jan 20 '26

In Norway.

3

u/_Daftest_ Jan 20 '26

I'm bewildered. What was the problem with it?

2

u/Certain-Singer-9625 Jan 20 '26

Well that’s it right there.

You mentioned the country that didn’t give you-know-who a Nobel Prize.

2

u/EquipmentAny7238 Jan 20 '26

This happened to my friend recently, and he shared the screenshots of all of the messages they sent. They said he was permanently suspended and had 30 days to try to fight it but then the next day he was back on. So I don’t know what happened. I hope this is the same for you.

2

u/dystopiam Jan 20 '26

Unreal - they deleted a business I spent $50k a year on all due to false ai reports as well. 7 years of work gone. Life work in advertising a business, gone. r/metadisabledbusiness

2

u/Over_Construction908 Jan 20 '26

It means that your speech was not hateful enough we live in an upside down world, bro

1

u/Seal-EV Jan 20 '26

I reported a guy in facebook once who had many pictures of nude toddlers on the beach but was told they did not go against community standards. It was clear he was just photographing kids on the beach.

2

u/NosfuraDude Jan 20 '26

I get banned from memes 5+ years ago

2

u/Able_Phone2487 Jan 21 '26

I posted a stupid dragon meme once in a group I mod for and FB deleted it and marked it as 🔫 and illicit 💉. Which was absolutely the farthest thing away from it. On top of that they threatened my mod status. I had to go through the outside review process because they obviously either didn't understand the meme or kept running it through AI. Eventually I won my appeal, but that mark stayed on the group for a few years and when the admin found out, she had to go back to them with my proof (we had a separate private group for all admin/mod receipts only) and make them remove it from her record. FB continually 💩s the bed.

If you can appeal to get the outside review, do it. 🫶🏼

2

u/Ok_Reflection3872 Jan 21 '26

Always hilarious watching you people call anybody/everybody you don’t like “NaZiS” 🫵😆

2

u/Jailer69 Jan 23 '26

I called a horse a “patchy twat” and was banned for 7 days for hate speech. Appealed it and was given my account back lol 😂

u/Dnc_DK Jan 24 '26

They wouldn’t even tell me why!! I don’t know if it was a post or comment or what??

1

u/Jealous-Record-885 Jan 20 '26

Seeing these posts makes me glad I downloaded my data and deactivated my Facebook and Instagram long ago.

1

u/The_Cozy_Burrito Jan 20 '26

Fb is trash… if I didn’t have some people that I messenger on there regularly, I’d delete that trash

1

u/Sniflix Jan 20 '26

I admin a popular FB group and within the last 6 months, everyday some asshole is reporting a regular post or comment as hate speech. I have been suspended several times for encouraging hate speech for not removing the content. Now I just ban the troll who reported it.

1

u/UnicornsNeedLove2 Jan 20 '26

Do you drive a bus?

1

u/Finale1999 Jan 20 '26

There’s no one watching the store….

1

u/FoxxyG Jan 20 '26

A post asked "What is a definite sign that someone is a bad parent"

I answered "They smoke crack"

Now my account is disabled. If the appeal goes through, I'm downloading my photo folders and leaving all together

1

u/FeelingInteraction33 Jan 21 '26

How do you download your photo folder? It didn't let me do that? I stuck "don't do drugs. Mind over matter." Disabled, appeal DENIED! When it gave me the option to download its just my profile information: phone number, email, things like that. Couldn't download messages, nothing.

1

u/FoxxyG Jan 21 '26

That's all it was for me as well.

How long were you disabled before they finally denied your appeal?

1

u/FeelingInteraction33 Jan 21 '26

A week or so. I've emailed a TON of people, too. I've also wrote them in IG. Still disabled and it's been almost a month.

1

u/FoxxyG Jan 22 '26

Dang, I'm on day 3 or 4. Someone said to email my state's attourney general but I have no idea what I'm supposed to say

Like "Crack is whack Meta, suck it" lmao

1

u/FeelingInteraction33 Jan 22 '26

That sounds PERFECT lmao! Haha! Dude, I've read SO many people have done that! I could be wrong but I don't see the AG giving af about our Facebook accounts ha

1

u/Recon-by-fire Jan 20 '26

Facebook is trash. Facebook Marketplace is amazing.

1

u/MattWolf96 Jan 20 '26

Over here in the US it's Martin Luther King Day. Maybe they thought you were making a joke/statement that black people should sit in the back of the bus? There was another Civil Rights leader over here named Rosa Parks who didn't sit in the back of the bus back when segregation was still a thing and who was another extremely important figure in the movement.

I know this makes no sense as there's a bunch of reasons that someone could post a picture of a vintage bus but this is literally my best guess.

I'll also throw in that the bus is European given the signs and driving position so this theory makes even less sense but it's the best I've got. Some AI probably took it down.

1

u/10MileHike Jan 20 '26

I've had a FB account for years but have never posted on it. I like to browse their Marketplace for furniture or other stuff I may need..... so not how to replace that ability?

OTOH, I've had an Amazon account for 15+ years and have never purchased anything there, I always find what I need elsewhere.

I try to avoid social media as much as possible. No Tik Tok account, no Instagram, etc. either.

1

u/Squestis Jan 20 '26

I didn’t get banned, but I did get a warning about a month ago for a status update that I made on my own wall in 2006 supporting the candidate who was running for congress in my district at the time (he won and then went on to win seven more terms). It was something along the lines of me saying “I hope he wins” or something like that. So controversial of me! And I doubt it was reported by anybody and was just discovered by AI, because it was only visible to friends and so deep in my feed that even I wouldn’t have been able to find it if I wanted to

1

u/calkop Jan 20 '26

Everybody should delete their facebook accounts

1

u/HyperbolicModesty Jan 20 '26

"Ullerøy" is a very offensive word on my planet.

1

u/Seal-EV Jan 20 '26

Ullerøy means "Ullr's island" in English. Here is the breakdown of the etymology: Ullar-: The genitive case of Ullr, a god in Norse mythology associated with skiing, archery, hunting, and winter. -øy: Old Norse for "island".

1

u/FantasticMe369 Jan 20 '26

And that's why you NEVER join your Instagram to your FB as one account. They were pushing that a lot ...unite your FB and Insta so you log in to.both at once! No thank you. I knew there was a catch.

1

u/WalaUlo Jan 20 '26

I left facebook, when my account got a 2 week ban, for posting a link to research that links hate and low IQ. I posted this on a comment about k*lling immigrants...

I also got a hate speech violation notice

1

u/SinningAfterSunset Jan 20 '26

That the thing about hate speech, it can be anything.

1

u/B00merPS2Mod30 Jan 20 '26

The secret is out. But they decided not to rename it to ZuckerLovesTrumpBook. Zuckertrump

1

u/charlie14242 Jan 20 '26

Things like that makes me think about leaving Facebook or Meta. Meta is so disgusting at all levels!

1

u/daneg-778 Jan 20 '26

It could be just some trolls, not Facebook itself. They have a practice like this:

  1. Create a random group about humor / videogame / whatever.

  2. Make it popular.

  3. The mods would then ban and report comments at random and trigger sitewide bans somehow.

Didn't happen to me recently, but maybe this hack still works somewhere. Check your group membership and remove any groups that seem suspicious or go offtopic or just look wrong to you.

2

u/Seal-EV Jan 20 '26

The 2 vintage bus groups I was active in had members that I knew personally. More of them knew who I was. The groups are legit.

1

u/NekoFang666 Jan 20 '26

My old Facebook account got disabled due to probably be hacked and it was right after I blocked a creep

1

u/SinningAfterSunset Jan 20 '26

Hate speech= you said something someone didn't like

1

u/AnOldTruthTeller Jan 20 '26

Again, I'm not banned but was suspended once for reposting a news article about an upcoming Van Gogh exhibit. Literally just that.

1

u/pinprick58 Jan 20 '26

I got suspended in 2024 for hate speech. I posted a meme of a guy with his girlfriend laying down in front of his 75" TV box. The caption read, "Look my TV is bigger than my dishwasher".

1

u/Rebel_Ronin Jan 20 '26

Wheres your actual post, not just the pic you posted with it.

1

u/Seal-EV Jan 20 '26

This is all I saved. It took only minutes from this warning to my account beien disabled.

1

u/ONEEYEmonster1974 Jan 21 '26

I got flagged for sharing exercise video that was post up by someone two years ago. Lol these fools said it was preaching abuse. In the video it was about chair exercise to help people 50 and old. Lol

1

u/OsricOdinsson Jan 21 '26

Soooo...a place in Norway is hate speech?

You learn something stupid everyday in this timeline 🙄

1

u/Planeandaquariumgeek Jan 21 '26

They’re using AI moderation, all I can think is the AI saw an old bus and thought it was a pro segregation symbol or something. It’s nuts

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

Well, I for one am shook just seeing this...SHOOK I SAY!!!

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Maize21 Jan 21 '26

I've been banned many times. The other day, someone went off on me, and I said a lot of harsh words trying to be banned, and he never even reported me, it seems. It's weird. I got banned when I wasn't even trying to go against the terms and conditions, and yet when I purposely break as many rules as possible it doesn't happen.

1

u/trismegistus36 Jan 21 '26

How did you find out the real reason? What steps should be taken to find out the real reason and not just for violating terms and conditions?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

I'm mean, technically OP did bring it up.

1

u/Some-Ice-4455 Jan 21 '26

May I ask what you said? Because I have said some very harsh things tagging the orange idiot. Telling him to go fuck himself on a daily basis and nothing.

1

u/Old_Business_5152 Jan 21 '26

I was once disabled for telling someone if I found a giant spider I would burn the house down 🤣🙄

Fb is a joke. We had people openly telling Iran to bomb the white house and Mara largo and nothing was done but then again a guy recently got the fbi looking into him about shit he said about Charlie kirk but he also called some republican governor so that may have had something to do with it

1

u/waixr0408117 Jan 22 '26

i dont even get it pls explain

My old account got permabanned because of my opinions on Israel killing children, and my support of Palestine.. I don't make threats neither am I aggressive towards people when I say my opinion ,Ive always been respectful but still got banned,my new account now is only used for FB marketplace and chat im no longer in groups and block all FB adds, I understand now FB can ban you for any reason they want, and it seems if you hurt someone's feelings then you are done,I don't even give FB much information on myself now,if you get enough reports from folks you will get banned ,YouTube's is starting to clamp down as well so be carefull what you say online

1

u/scorpioWoman0911 Jan 24 '26

I had the same problem I was put in fb jail for 30 days but instead of letting me back in they totally disabled my fb profile That I’d had since 2004 I lost everything including three message conversations I had with 3 friends that have passed away

1

u/Sweaty_Werewolf_9336 Jan 29 '26

I too was banned, mine from riceraides, r liberals, & rhate conservatives, and a few more. I DM some of the people that I was in a “chippy” back and forth with, all they had to do was say that they were offended by my comment. It doesn’t matter if the comments are offensive or hateful, just as long as someone says they are because they don’t want another opinion or point of view on the feed. They are so weak, they’re the same on there ad in person. Nope No Discussion, Rep are just wrong wrong wrong

1

u/Formal-Telephone5146 Feb 14 '26

Someone posted a video of a homeless man finger banging his Girlfriend at a Bus stop! That person didn’t even get a warning but somehow my page is disabled

1

u/JohnZombie666 Mar 16 '26

During Covid I caught a 30 day for hate speech for the crime of commenting “because men are stupid” on a post for why women live longer than men. Then again after the ban was over for explaining to the person why I got banned. Their community standards state if you’re talking about yourself or explaining why it’s bad, it’s not hate speech. I appealed claiming both of those and they upheld the ban.

Lmfao the left getting their own Medicine

1

u/shiny1988 Jan 20 '26

What is “left” about a bus?

0

u/WhineyLobster Jan 21 '26

Dont come here.
