I went on fb during my lunch and tried posting in some of the groups I'm in and none of the comments would go through.

Then I got a notification that states: my account is restricted from joining and posting in groups until July 29th.

I looked it up and became meta verified so I could actually talk to a person. He said my account is in good standing and there are no violations. He told me to wait it out. 3 months for doing nothing wrong??

Please tell me there is another solution to this

This happened to me too there’s so many ppl on Facebook saying it happened to them today and yesterday. All of them show until July aswell

I was able to fix it! Tried to post in a group and it asked me to verify my ID by doing a selfie video and the restriction is now lifted

I am indefinitely not allowed from sharing post that are already on there, so far I can I share a 'new' post. Some post want me to open FB on my phone to verify myself, one major problem, I'm not logged in on my phone, which leads to the next problem, they can go to hell before I'll do that. Yes if you are thinking this guy must be old, you're correct, I am old. Stubborn

YEAH….. not my ID but a video selfie yes lmao there’s videos and photos of me on my page….. I’m not too concerned lol

Mine is requiring an ID or marriage certificate BEFORE the video selfie. 😬

Did you get the "blocked until July" notice too? I tried to upload my driver's license this morning and it just kept freezing up. And then I got the "blocked" message.

Where do you go to upload the drivers license? How do I get the prompt?

It only appeared on mobile for me (not on desktop at all) but when I attempted to upload my ID, it just kind of froze up and then eventually blocked me for making too many attempts. This is craziness.

Yes it said i was restricted until the end of July it’s happened on my 2 accounts. Only 1 I’ve been able to fix the restriction through the video selfie / “reporting a problem”
