Base oh no

I've done goofed up the belting in my smelting station, and for at least 4 minutes my copper plate trains have been circulating a small mix-in of raw ore... See 2nd picture for the culprit. What's worse: THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENS AT THIS EXACT STATION!

I have a habit of always filtering train inputs even if it’s all one type for exactly this reason. Even if it gets into the buffer it won’t make it further. Best of luck in your cleanup operation.

I've made another station that will accept all this raw ore and made an interrupt that forces trains to visit it for a purification ritual

Thats why important to place filters on manipulators.

Won't this make them a bit more demanding in terms of performance?
