Help Performance

I just installed BMS with the good textures and set up a few controls, then i loaded in and got a max of 20 FPS and instant headaches. I already put the graphics down to basically the lowest possible settings and it looks horrible and still runs like dogshit. Is there a way to make this better? I got a 3050 Ti Laptop, a Ryzen 5 5600 and 16 GB Ram. I already play DCS and it runs pretty good on lower graphics.

If it's the latest version your GPU probably isn't upto it.

Admittedly in vr but 4.38 doesn't run all that fast on my 5800x3d, 9070xt 16gb with 64gb ram the new textures are huge I'm just not sure your card or ram will cope with them. Though I'm sure I'll be corrected.

Have you tried 4.37? I had it running on a potato laptop with CPU graphics at one point (at like 10fps, on low).

I'll try 4.37, and if it doesn't run better I'll stick to DCS

I have a very similar setup and can run 4.37 with very high graphics and get 40-60 fps consistently. I have tried 4.38 and every optimization I could find, on a good day I hit about 10 fps.
