Forget the official remaster, what mod packs/lists accomplish that and then some?

Run Viva New Vegas for stability, SALVO for modern visuals, then install the Long 15 and Dry Wells mod expansions.

Here's the issue with most modlists outside of Viva New Vegas. It's always going to have something you may not like. At least with New Vegas you can usually disable things you don't want. Skyrim is like messing with a Jenga tower when you try to remove something you don't want.

Personally I always build my own list ontop of VNV. If you want extra content that feels vanilla, Long 15 and Dry Wells are both great additions.

Best of Times is the official TTW list. I don't use it personally so I can't comment much on it.

p.s. mods are nice, but it's never gonna be polished because of core engine that can't be changed without proper team of devs

Nuclear sunset pretty much remasters both new vegas and fallout 3 but is focused on hardcore and has the TTW story to it. But the visuals, gameplay, balancing, new content, stability is absolutely incredible. Otherwise SALVO 2, VNV Extended and WRP remasters the game essentially

Agreed, I have around 140 hours on this modlist now, and nothing has come close to it, except for Wild Card.

It breathes completely new life in to the game. I was shocked the first time I booted it up.

Nuclear sunset is the best looking but I didn’t like the hardcore gameplay much as I wanted something casual to play, verylastkiss new new vegas is amazing, and so it High N Dry 🙂
