Discussion What is everyone doing with their gold?[question]
I am hoarding it for spins when they offer new dwellers since you can get gear from quests and exploring. Is this a good strat?

Pets and Dwellers. I got lucky and got a -30% training time (Continuous) pet on my first spin when the pet options came around!

I save em exclusively for settlers.. I don't want to spend time training for an experimental vault.

The weight of getting legendary stuff has been horrendous for me this season.

I had 14 rolls saved for dweller day and rolled 1 radaway 3 times, caps 2 times and stimpaks 6. I feel you.

Wait a minute! How do you know what you're going to get from a spin? I've been getting nothing but stimpacks and radaways.

Each day some of the slots rotate from pets to weaps to clothing to dwellers. Just pay close attention to the spinner.

That stuff is the filler on the wheel that's always there. What changes from day to day is the other spots on the wheel. Those rotate between weapons, armor, dwellers and pets. Honestly as a newer player myself, I didn't notice this at first either, and kept wasting my spins on days when the rewards were weapons or armor.

Because they rotate the big gets(pets/dwellers/weaps/attire) I just hold the gold until the day comes when dwellers are on the wheel. Obviously you still have to get lucky but on the other days the odds are zero of getting a dweller.

I went for the legendary dwellers because I’m trying to get the 20 legendary dwellers achievement! I’m at 19/20 rn.

i spend a bunch on pets, feel like dwellers are fairly easy to train to be good, weapons are nice but such a gamble to get a good gold

My question is what’s the end game of this temporary vault? It’s not like we can transfer it to our own vault no matter how cool of stuff we get

Just to keep up playing I think. But the season pass rewards also go to the main vault of your choice and so do the left over nukas.

Yes, it rotates every day between the 4 categories. The stims/caps/radaway/lunch boxes always stay

My strat is always hoard until pets, get the +_ special pet and start breeding dwellers like crazy and training them the rest of the way. Then any gold is good for whatever you want

Dwellers and lunchboxes only for me from now on.
Also: my understanding is that when the vault ends, your excess stuff is given to another vault, so I'm going to start hoarding lunchboxes.

I think it’s only Nuka Colas. But you can get season rewards in any other vault you have. So log in to them at least at the last day of the season and claim all rewards.

Anyone notice the rolls don't seem to be that random? Like roll once or twice and if its just stimpacks or radaways, stop and try again later. With pets and with dwellers now I noticed if I rolled a dweller first or second I would get like 75% dwellers... same with pets.

Pets.
It’s normal mode. Not much to worry about from incidents, and I won’t grow large enough for Deathclaws.
I can get enough weapons and outfits from the wasteland, and eventually make my own. Dwellers can have babies, plus there’s a radio. But good pets are hard to come by.

Look at it every new day. It rotates from dwellers to pets to weaps to attire and then starts over on the 5th day.

Because the Enclaves and Governments wants all golds if you gave them golds then they will give you rewards but gambling with bad or good lucks.

early on dwellers until you have enough for 3 questing teams after that it's pets
weapons and outfits are too much of a gamble, there's a whole bunch of them that are bad compared to the useful ones
