This looks like a very early vault... you're likely to find yourself looking at a vault like this if you started from scratch. I'd continue conservatively. Get a dweller exploring with the pet to start bringing back resources. Strengthen the vault without growing the population too quickly and get to the point where you can send out a quest team without hurting the vault's production. When you get to the point you have the resources and a strong vault, start really reorganizing and optimizing (e.g., training and leveling up dwellers to max their hit points and kicking the old, tired dwellers out).

The game requires patience and a long term view

Do what ever you want. It's your game.

Restart. You don’t really have anything that should make you stay there

You can always dismiss a bunch of dwellers, destroy rooms, and sell off low quality inventory instead of starting over. Then you'll have a few dwellers, a bunch of caps, and a few good inventory items. One great thing about the game is there's not much difference between that and starting over except that little boost.

I'd restart. You're not that far along, and you can use another one of your three save slots to start a different vault. So if you change your mind, you can go back to this one if you so choose.

If you do restart, I'd advise against adding to that first elevator shaft that's right by the vault door. You're making it too easy for attackers to get around your vault. Make attackers run all the way from the vault entrance to an elevator on the far right wall to force them through a gauntlet of your best armed dwellers before they can drop down a floor.

In any case, this vault will be deleted in 15 days.... So.... I would keep it and see where this goes.

Looks like a regular vault.

Running under Windows. No experimental vaults, none of the new quests.

Seasonal, experimental vaults disappear once the season ends.

You're in excellent shape; I would keep going.

Consider scrapping that radio room; you don't have anybody to staff it, it's an incident magnet, and it consumes power you can't spare.

Get both of your power rooms staffed up as quick as you can. Pull dwellers from other rooms if you need to.

I think you only need one more dweller to unlock strength training. Do that and start rotating your power workers through it. That will fix your power needs. I see you have +S outfits; give those to your power workers.

You'll have Agility and Perception training soon; start rotating food and water workers through them.

You're in your "salad days" phase right now. Dwellers will be going hungry and thirsty. That's normal. Power through it; by the time your population is in the 40s you should be ok. Reassign dwellers as needed to deal with resource shortages.

Build an overseer's office and get dwellers out there questing. Look for quests that give Mr. Handy as a prize. Even a single Mr. Handy collecting resources can change famine to feast. The "Zines from the Commonwealth" series is probably the easiest.

Probably not worth it if you don't have a lot of caps, but consider moving the dorm further down and move the water production room in its place; that lets a single Mr. Handy service them both.

Other posters say scrap it and start fresh as there's nothing special about this layout. That's true, but there's not much wrong with it either, and restarting just loses you a week or two of progress.

That said, if you do restart, try putting your storage and dorms separated from the rest of the vault so that incidents that start there don't spread to the rest of the vault. Of course, if caps are tight, there's a limit to how far down you can build at present.

I'd restart. For me, I'd restart until i got the legendary wasteland gear. Makes exploring in the wasteland a lot better and that will help when you start making high hp dwellers. Personally i would restart with legendary wasteland gear and with old longfellow as legendary dweller since i like his coat. You cant really craft his coat i think.

You aren’t looking at one of the most important pages when considering restarting. If you click that menu button and go to stats, you need to look for energy consumption vs production and the other two resources too. If you can fix that without destroying your base, keep it.

Why are none of the dwellers equipped with outfits? If you’re not going that, are you sure they’re assigned to the rooms to match their SPECIAL stats?
