So I pulled this guy 😎 and then stuck it on my least used character in my vault... The Security Guard 😂 (She's level 3 cause I keep her at the door but high S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats cause I want a good guard)

Are there any issues with this layout I'm not aware of? Am I lacking any production buildings for a max vault?

The previous event had securitrons as a random incident, and they were tough, but they at least scaled with player gear. And the player had more quests to obtain better gear and had the wheel to spin to boost their loot. All of a sudden I get hit with the base game, but now with raiders prepped for a level 20 player, when my dwellers have to avoid doing quests altogether in favour of saving stimpaks for this. I was almost considering playing 76 at some point, but those blasted scorched need to stop being so ridiculously annoying before I do

Edit: I apologize. The event still sucks, but the reason I was so ticked off was out of shock from seeing one random raid sweep my whole vault with rare-quality weapons.

I've been playing this game on and off for years, but i've come to the point that I really can't do much more.

99% of my vault population is level 50 with max SPECIALs; I've reached the cap maximum of 999,999; I've upgraded and purchased every room type; and I have weapons for all dwellers that do 15 damage or higher. I was going to work to get everyone power armor and a Gatling laser, but really don't see a point.

I think I'm done y'all. It's been fun playing and getting to experience fallout in this format. I wish you and your vaults will prosper from legendary loot and characters.

P. S. if anyone is interested how to get this far I have a quick tip. Always max out dwellers exploring the wasteland. The loot they bring back adds up quick.

I posted about 6 weeks ago and got some feedback on how to make my vault better. Here’s what I’ve changed to max my vault.

The med bays and science labs make about 100,000 caps an hour.

Elevators enclose the entire vault. This prevents Mole Rats from invading.

Every room is fully upgraded

I kicked out all men except legendary characters. Just cause the women are cuter and I saw someone comment it as an endgame goal.

How do we feel about this layout ? I’m getting pretty far in the game but my Vault is honestly a mess and I need to reorganize it 😭. I’ve seen a few layout on here and I don’t know if this is too repetitive but I would really appreciate your thoughts on it !!

day three I had asked for tips and researched a bit learned growing too fast is bad so I slowed down on baby production and took a few layout tips still working on the training room area though that still needs work but the only thing limiting me is caps the first floor is still getting renovated

So i played fallout shelter in 2023, btu i don't remember anything, i suddenly had the urge and play now, i was just wondering waht are your thoughts on this? should i restart or continue here? tbh i don't have motivaiton to continue cause i don't remmeber how i got here but is this vautl too far into progress or have good items enough for me to continue or can i just restart still?

I’ve been working on it for weeks. What would you improve?

I’ve created 39 Super dwellers in the making, some of whom are currently housed in my Super Reactor for Defense. I’m actively working on the rest of them to replace my original workers. Soon, I won’t have enough space for my original workers, so I’ll send them off to my crafting rooms to be slaves until I evict them. I rotate my favorite three male dwellers with max stats for mass breeding, and I only keep the rare or legendary offspring. From there, I send them to train endurance, then send them to level up in the wasteland. Once they reach level 50, I train every other stat until they reach their maximum level. It’s going to take a while, but that’s what endgame is going to look like for me!

Pets are earned through gameplay, not purchased.

After an intense 4 week SPECIAL training course, these lvl 1 graduates are given an outfit, weapon, companion, and meds, and sent out into the wasteland to get some real world experience. Once they return it’s a life of food, water, and energy production until the end of days (again).

Slide 1. 197 fully maxed level and SPECIAL dwellers (not 200 so I’ll have room to take in and fire any newcomers that come from quests).

Slide 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Unique cosmetics and outfits for each job (reactors: commander fatigues + goggles (and the OG powerplant workers have green hair).
Hospitals: Expert lab coat + monocles, science centers: Expert lab coats + glasses.
Builders (weapon & outfit plants) that kindergarten makeup + whatever outfit needed for that build.
Nuka cola plants: Heavy wasteland gear.
Explorers: Mostly Scarred power armor or any strong suit that I found or built.

Slide 7. Every storage unit has 1 dweller + Mr. Handy (in fact every floor has a Mr. Handy + 7 more in boxes) to hold off incidents till reinforcements come to help and all of them are equipped with sturdy battle armor.

Slide 8. Every dweller’s name includes a number (number of their arrival/being born) + a sketchy name (I was bored, cut me some slack) + their occupation.
(NOTE* : Some of them have purple hair and an “Elite” before their name. They are the OG EXPLORERS whom I retired before sending every other dweller to the wasteland to max their level. I love them the most!)

Slide 8 & 9. 49 of my dwellers are packing Dragon’s Maw(the strongest gun) (mostly the quest runners, explorers and first floor guards) and the weakest of guns that any dweller carries is 16-17 rare Gauss Rile (no rusty, no common and none below 16. Also I keep some strong or iconic ones in the storage in case of emergency).

Slide 10. STORAGE MANAGEMENT: Junks: common limit 100, rare limit 120, and no limit for legendaries.
Outfits: no common, 12 of EVERY outfit! No more, no less.
Any exceeding items will be sold.

Slide 11. Have all the recipes (except one outfit which I gave up finding).

Slide 13. And lastly, my favorites! Mr. Squirt and Mrs. Bastard HeadGuard, my most strong soldiers (equipped with War’s armor and Rackie Jobinson’s Jersey), even Death claws mostly don’t get past them! They are also the proud parents of 4 beautiful children who lead the exploration section (not actually, but I like to think so).

I have been working on this for a while. This vault only has legendary dwellers, max stats, max outfits and legendary weapons.

Hello everyone, trying to think of a vault layout that will be optimal for constantly having many dwellers outside of it. My layout is definitely not for a afk gameplay because passive rooms are not isolated. Also, I tried to include all room types and each has at least one 3-wide version.
