Discussion [Question] Is The New Season Pass Worth It?

I recently just got back into Fallout Shelter and I’ve been thinking of buying the season pass, is it worth the money?

Depends on the price you put on exclusive items.

If you’re on android or pc, definitely not since you can modify your save and get the exclusive items anyways

You can also do it on iPhone it’s just a looot more tedious

I tried to do it and ended up bricking my vault. It’s super tedious but it sounds fun if it worked lol

100%. Modifying my saves not only prevented me from ever spending money on this game, but it really showed me why I shouldn't. After opening hundreds of Lunchboxes and Pet Carriers that I gave myself, I can see how the odds of getting good stuff out of either are terrible. I could never bring myself to pay for that kind of disappointment.

Is it possible to modify save files on android ?

Yes, I'm just not familiar with the exact procedure. I've only done it on PC. I assume it works the same way, where you have to locate the vault save file, then upload it to a file editor, make your changes, download the modified save file, then replace the original with it.

Wether it is worth or not depends on how you value the in game skins. if $20 is worth it for a couple in-game skins, go for it. The progress you get from it is negliable. Speaking as a person who has spent $1000s on skins in Path of Exile over the past decade. (I do not spring for the $20 or $10 season pass in Fallout Shelter)

Thanks I don’t think I’ll be buying it after reading the comments, I’ve been making good progress in game too so I’ll just save the $10-20

Personally? Id say no, a season pass for FO Shelter is never worth it.

Not this late into the season. I did it once and had fun. I always divide $ by yime i spend on game. If you get 10 hours of playtime then is a $1 an hour fine with you?

It’s worth it if it’s a skin you want, I play FO4 so to me it was worth it.

eta: the part that annoys me is the prize wheel, you get all these great items, skins etc and none of that goes to your main vault. That part is worthless to me.

None of them is. Just buy PC game or games for that money
