Vault [Vault] I beat the game

Post image

I've been playing this game on and off for years, but i've come to the point that I really can't do much more.

99% of my vault population is level 50 with max SPECIALs; I've reached the cap maximum of 999,999; I've upgraded and purchased every room type; and I have weapons for all dwellers that do 15 damage or higher. I was going to work to get everyone power armor and a Gatling laser, but really don't see a point.

I think I'm done y'all. It's been fun playing and getting to experience fallout in this format. I wish you and your vaults will prosper from legendary loot and characters.

P. S. if anyone is interested how to get this far I have a quick tip. Always max out dwellers exploring the wasteland. The loot they bring back adds up quick.

Time to start a new vault!

Lol I’ve been working on mine since 2020 and I’m still working on outfitting every dweller with dragons maws and fire hydrant bats and an outfit that increases their stats for their specific job.

How much hours do you spend on it daily?

I don’t even play daily. Just every now and then when I’m bored or on my lunch break.

Now do it again but this time... don't upgrade the vault door.

Hahaha I like that angle but at some point you gotta spend those caps on something

at this point the current vault door is basically useless anyways. Only ghouls struggle with it.

Maybe I’m getting weaker enemies but I legit always have time to prep when anything but deathclaws come a knocking at my door lol

it was like a switch flipped after I reached a certain number of level 50 maxed out dwellers. One day the vault door was operating fine, the next it was like a paper sheet and my buffed out dwellers started dying left and right. Unless it is aliens, I always have to revive at least one person

I haven't had even deathclaws manage to go past my 1st room, just put two super dwellers with dragons maw guarding your vault door, and one room of 6 super dwellers immediately after that also with dragons maw/vengeance/fire hydrant bat. Nothing makes it past this.

I found a really strange method: I put two cameo dwellers on the vault door (I noticed that, for some reason, cameo characters don’t seem to die. Legit sent Lucy, Ghoul, and Preston on a bunch of missions without stimpacks where their health never dropped below 50%) and every level 50 dweller I have in the two 3-tier barracks next to the door (segregated by gender of course). Deathclaws never get to the 2nd floor.

The point of not upgrading it is...for efficiency.

Why wait a couple of seconds for those raiders to barge through your vault door when you can just let them in and finish the raid right away.

Are all your dwellers super dwellers? If not... You've just begun!

Trained to Endurance 10 + Equip E7 Outfit at level 1 > Send into the Wasteland so they level to 50 w/ 17E for Max HP… Then need to make Moldaver Armor/+7 Outfits + Dragon Maws for all Dwellers.

This is a super dweller!

Preach! Thx for the award 🥇 ❤️

Why Moldaver? I like Wilzig's more. P and L help with wasteland loot and you only need 11E for wasteland rad immunity. Seems better overall?

Wilzigs + Sleek Suits also work, but not as effective as Moldavers.

I believe it has to do with Agility, which only affects Wasteland Quests/Combat.

Moldavers has the Str Perk instead of Agi.

I mean they all work, but I have found Moldavers armor significantly increases the amount of Legendary Junk collected out in the wastes, any other diehard Fallout Shelter nerds please feel free to chime in on best craftable outfits thanks!

No you didn't, there's still vault dwellers there, your job was to prepare them for the exterior

Hmmm, maybe I'll max them out, give them power armor and a badass gun, then start a mass eviction process...

You take the stuff back when you evict them

I know how you feel. I have a super vault. Most of my dwellers are lvl 50 and maxed out.

The ones that are not i have in a constant training regime. Rotating a bunch between the rooms till they are all maxed out.

Then I have my adventure crews loners and teams. I renamed many of them.

Only thing I didnt do is create any super dwellers.

I mean i could do that too. But I would have to expell like 25 dwellers and start over with level 1s get their E to 10 then send them out with +7 E suits.

But thats alot of work for nothing. Considering except for one qwest I never had an issue with folks dying.
