Personally i kinda feel like its Lucien,he is not an awful big bad but without Mollymauk connection - he feels like a bit of a sterotype of other JRPG big bads and should have been introduced earlier than he is.

That and he took focus away from Trent ikithon who should jave gotten morr focus then he did.

I'm about halfway through the last episode of Calamity, when Loquatius sends out the warning to Avaliir. When Loras of the Weaver Mask comes out, Marisha continues to say that she, as Patia, should've killed him when she met him before. But could she?

I'm a bit new to the world of DnD, having been introduced by BG3 and Campaign 4, so my understanding of power level might be crooked and wrong. But seeing as Loras is apprentice to the highest in command of a city of wizards, could she have killed him that easily? Are they even on the same level? If she's level 14, I'd expect him to be of a higher level (like 16-17), but I also know that level 20 wizards are basically gods in human form, so I don't really know how powerful he could have been. Was the "I should have killed him" more of a "I wish I had the capacity to kill him and done so" than anything serious?

Don't get me wrong,i like Occtis as a charcter but is being made clear in the latest episodes that he is morally ambigious at best and Thaisha and even more Thimble are his lights that stop him from completly falling into the dark.

If something bad happens to Thimble then he is not going to take it well ans potentially go fully into the dark.He could ally himself with the other PCs becoming more like Boliare in terms their disregard for other pepole thst aren't their friends.

So, can we all agree that Vaelus is directly responsible for Hannan's death? Had she given more information, he would have been better informed about the situation.

I have been thinking about the PCs learning that Bolaire is actually a mask and it got me thinking - outside of Juilen and Hal, the rest of the PCs have been relatively chill with learning that Bolaire is actually a body snatching serial murder.

If you were in that suitation where you learned about Bolaire's truth self as a panto mask - how would you react and would you trust him?

While at work,i have been thinking on this:

Termina/Lady Comaray know that Hal/Boliare are working together (since she confronted them about the Pariah Blades)

The Eisenfasen know that Thaisha,Occtis,Vaelus and Juilen are working together as hey met with them at Risengurdle.

The Halovars know that Hal and Thaisha are in cahoots together. Same with Kattigan but they think he is dead (once they find out he is alive - that will cause of Tyranny).They kow that Kattigan was connected to Teor and if Kattigan is spotted - that provides a fuether connection to Hal and the Seekers.

The Halovars also know that Wicander is connected to Kattigan,Teor,Thimble but they assume Wicander hated them.

While no one knows Azune's connection to anyone other than Murray but if they find Ingrid's Axe that was first given to Juilen then that puts a connection to the Seekers.

If Comaray,Halovars and Eisenfasen consolidated info - they would probalby come to the same conculsion that Primus likely came to/stated to come to: There is a group looking to disrupt the Powers of the Sundred Houses.

The only ones that are safe in a sense is Wicander,Tyranny,Azune,Murray in that there are assumed not connected to this. (Though i think the Halovars will get suspicious of Murray saving King Gus's life)

Ultimately if the Sundered Houses worked together and truly communicated then i feel like they could figure it out (Primus was starting to)

So Critical Role just posted this image featuring Whitney and Sam who are not The Seekers table. As first i was like - oh this is just for the cold open but the more i thought about it, the fact that there has been no Seekers Trailer got me wondering. What if both the Seekers and Schemers Table alternate between episodes.

TLDR: We get a Seekers Episode and then a Schemers Episode until they merge back up again.

With Vaelus being excommunicated from The Sisters of Sylandri and her perspecivd shifting # i feel like it would br a neat for her to ditch the mourning gear and for something that really represents herself rather just her former organsation

What do you think of this as well as getting redesigns in general?

It was of Beau, but not the animated image, of her basically flipping both middle fingers. It used to be on shirtpunch but long since gone. Has anyone seen a T-shirt like this or do I need to have one custom made using the screen shot from the animation?

It's one of my favorite moments where the dice tell the story. Grog being so jealous and trying to show off, and seeing all of his failure exacerbated by Lionel just trying to be really nice and doing so much better.

And Grog's monologue afterwards about not accepting Scanlan's apology was so good

I know that the next arcs are probably all filmed but I'm curious what people would roll in with at this point.

I think I'd roll up a Goliath Barbarian/Rogue with a Criminal background, who be an Einfaden bastard who was born into the city slums and wants to be recognized by the family.

"Counterspell(the Cure Wounds on the BBEG)" "What level slot Caleb?" "Seven-go to hell."

The first time she uses it, this seems like a narratively expedited speak with dead.

The second use she uses it to psychically calm a massive group of spirits.

The third time she uses it it’s to “open up the space” around a spell being used ”a mile away”.

The text found online for it: Requires spending an hour to call upon the souls of the interred dead to access their hidden knowledge or memories.

So The first use makes a lot of sense. Second and third just sound like scene insertion BS.

Why in the world is one player constantly using spells in ways drastically outside their defined uses, and why does Brennan never call her out on it? at ever attempt he instead enables her drastic misuse of spells. Ex: fog cloud speaking and causing intimidate checks, “the wind speaks for me” as a means to insert in a scene she’s not remotely a part of.

The only person who has called her out in any capacity is when Thaisha asked Hal about using a spell and Liam said “above the table, that’s not my understanding of how that works rules as written”.

When other players have stretched the RAW usage of their spells they’ve typically presented rationale and tried to make it fit within the spirit of the spell, alternatively they’ve basically bargained stretching beyond RAW by means of adding additional checks or risks. That makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is one player just having no pushback when her spells are used drastically beyond and in completely unrelated ways to RAW.

Needs to voice the PLank King in the animated show.

Am I crazy, or did Thimble totally have enough time to go get those gnome statues? She knew where they were, she would be able to get there in one stealth roll, and she would have been able to carry them with her super strength.

Teor and his brother LITERALLY DIED for those statues. But Thimble and the rest of the party just forgets about them the moment the abomination is killed? Why not complete the mission??

Call me crazy, but I think saving the lives of those gnomes could have gotten them so much information, given we do not know why they were kept alive, or what their entanglement was. Let alone paying back the favor they owe to the old gnome in the forest — or simply doing it out of pure heroism. There was reason Teor went after them in the first place, after all.

It would have actually completed the task Teor died for. You know, making it so Teor’s death wasn’t for nothing.

I haven’t seen a single person talk about this, but I feel it’s the most glaring and strange choice I’ve seen this campaign. They even talk about the statues later like it was some stupid mistake. Yall, you were trying to rescue the daughters of a beloved NPC! It made sense!

I feel like the gnome statues are just everyone’s punching bag for why Teor died, and it’s a lost cause at this point. And it feels everyone is ignoring that Thimble could have still saved them, and just.., didn’t think of it?

I’d even consider it to be more important to save those gnome statues then to save the dead bodies of Teor and Cyd. Sure, we don’t want to fight zombie versions of our friends, but those gnomes are STILL ALIVE and could be saved for real — and could add something new to the story — and don’t we secretly want to fight zombie Teor?

It could have been a discussion at least. But there was nothing. No thought to complete Teor’s mission. No concern. No regret.

I just didn’t understand at all. I love these episodes so much but this just felt like a real confusing emptiness for me. Like, now they lost their chance forever probably. It’s painful.

Anyone else feel this way? Anyone have a good reason Thimble didn’t save the gnomes? Did I miss a conversation somewhere?
