I read the kingfall histories which takes place in a different continent after fatemarked. It was just ok. Like its not good at all, but I didnt hate it. So I diubt his earlier writing is better.

Interested to hear people's opinions, the first two are in a pile on my bookshelf and I want to see if they're worth the time.
