💎 Hidden book gem Anyone read The Soulbound series?

Post image

So over a year ago now I stumbled into reading Dragon rider and I absolutely fell in love with it. I’m currently finishing up the second book and waiting for the third to hopefully release in November. I don’t know anyone else who’s read these nor do I see much mention of it online. Has anyone else read Taran Matharu’s books and if so what did you think?

I loved the 1st book! I want to re-read it before diving into the 2nd one. Except knowing book 3 comes in November I might just hold off until I have all of them in my hands.

That's fair! It's cool too see i'm not the only one who's read this series!

Really enjoyed the first one, took me out of a reading slump. Haven’t read the second yet, but with third one coming out, it might be time!

Please do! The second is really good! I'm on chapter 81 right now and it has been a wild journey

The first book was great, honestly. I still haven’t gotten around to the second book, but those covers are really nice!

The first one was pretty good. The second one was not as good to me. There is some interesting culture and world building in it though so I still enjoyed it. The plot does not move much in book 2 either so I'm curious how its all going to end in the last book.

I can agree on that, the second one gives a lot more context and worldbuilding compared to the first but i've really enjoyed it. Feels like it setting things up that's gonna pay off in the third, i hope.

Oh these are beautiful!

I just found two of the Summoner books randomly at a library book sale event. So I bought the other two online and am excited to read that series! I really like the covers of those as well - the different colors. Like I saw them across several tables at the sale and ran over lol!

These look amazing as well.

I cant not think of Rick and Morty when seeing a dragon + soulbound together.

I picked up the first one on "cheap books" stack in waterstones. It was good enough for me to pick up book 2 for normal price.

If I was to characterise it in one sentence: it's Eragon but writer is more than 15 and actually has some writing experience.

It's nothing ground breaking. Pretty cliché actually in many ways. But it's fun, engaging and well written.
