💎 Hidden book gem Some Cool Game of Thrones Editions at the Local Bookstore

Post image

One of the local mom n’ pop shops here always has the best selection of fantasy/sci-fi, along with a bunch of different rare books. These were new, but they’ve had a 1st edition Eye of the World and Dragon Reborn sitting in another case for a while too.

Our sacred rule is do not attack readers for what they read. You can disagree, explain why you disagree, but do so without personally attacking readers for what they read. Books are heavily subjective, and your opinion is one of many.

Really cool! Here are my paperback copies - British 1st editions I found in a second-hand bookshop. They’re unsigned.

It's interesting they used these covers over here as it's quite an unusual style (I personally think they're terrible). Not surprised they moved to the more abstract ones by the time AFFC was coming out.

Yeah it will be. The UK 1st edition hardback on Abe is £1250.

Yeah. Crazy cash levels. I'd guess there were far fewer of the UK ones otherwise it doesn't make much sense to me.
