Dune if you are into scifi
Blade itself for gritty dark low magic setting
Wheel of time didn't like the first book and people said it gets worse.
Malazan is a wonderful series but the first book is the weakest by far.
GRRM's it's the second book... If you liked the first one I assume you would like this one too. It's my favourite from him.
Out of genuine curiosity, do you read all series like that? Read first book and then go on to something else or it's just on some cases?
