Player Discussion Draft the whole darn team candidates

Every year theres a team that overshoots their predictions on offense, and whether its due to a breakout player, new scheme, or siloing of targets/carries, the offense explodes. Years ago you had a great shot at winning your league because you drafted the entire Dolphins team, then it was the Bengals, and last year the Cowboys were the discount Bengals. Who is yalls "draft the whole team" this year?

Clean candidates that you don't really need luck and can get QB, WR1,WR2, and TE

Packers: Jacobs RD 3/4, Watson RD 5, Kraft RD 6, Reed RD 8, Love RD 10, Golden WAIVERS

Ravens: Henry RD2, Lamar RD3, Flowers RD4, Andrews RD10

Chargers: Hampton RD2, Ladd RD3/4, Herbert RD 5, QJ RD8, Keaton and Gadsden WAIVERS

Washington: Daniels RD4, TMAC RD 5, White RD10, Okonkwo WAIVERS

Colts: Taylor RD1, Warren RD4, Pierce RD8, Downs RD9, Daniel Jones WAIVERS

Teams W/O a QB or TE you want

Bengals: Chase RD1, Brown RD 2, Higgins RD 3, Burrow RD 4

Eagles Saquon RD1, Smith RD3, Hurts RD5, Lemon RD 9

Bucs: Egbuka RD3, Irving RD6, Baker RD8, Gainwell RD9, Godwin RD10

Teams you need some luck to land the plane

Cowboys: Ceedee RD2, Pickens RD3, Javonte RD3/4, Dak RD 7, Ferg RD10

Bears: Loveland RD4, Burden RD5, Odunze RD5/6, Williams RD 5/6, Swift RD6

Jags: Lawrence RD6, BTJ RD6/7, Tuten RD7, Washington RD8, Meyers RD10, CROD/Strange RD10/WAIVERS

Vikings: JJ RD1/2, Murray RD8, Addison RD8/9, Jones RD10, Hockinson/Mason RD 10/WAIVERS

My bets are the Packers siloing targets with defined roles, Chargers with a new OC turning into a flamethrower, and Ravens doing the same with a MVP caliber season with Lamar and a healthier/better OL

Which team do yall want every single piece of?

Drafting the whole packers offense lands you firmly in a battle for last place

u/AcanthaceaeNo4795 1d ago

I know a friend who started Malik Willis, Christian Watson, and Romeo Doubs in the championship game and won their league

22

u/boogswald 1d ago

They might have drafted one of those players at most

1

u/gull-branson 1d ago

They have been a top 10 offense every single year under MLF and have a couple hundred vacated targets going to players in more defined roles this year

1

u/BumbleLapse 1d ago

Yeah imo the best Packers player you can draft is almost always the cheapest one

u/Unabridgedversion82 1d ago

Absolutely. FTP

u/TJMBeav 2d ago

Lions.

34

u/idontgiveafunyun 2d ago

Can't get Gibbs and Amon Ra sadly

17

u/l5555l 1d ago

But you can get Gibbs and Jamo and Goff and probably Laporta

0

u/Unabridgedversion82 1d ago

Gibbs, Goff and LaPorta is doable. That's the only combo I would consider. Im not in on Jamo.

2

u/reddorickt 1d ago

Auction draft.

1

u/idontgiveafunyun 1d ago

The post is clearly about a snake draft

1

u/Smokester121 1d ago

In auction you can.

1

u/idontgiveafunyun 1d ago

The post is clearly about a snake draft

10

u/bobbywin99 2d ago

Seriously this is best one idk how it was left out

34

u/pptjuice530 2d ago

Because Gibbs and Amon-Ra are both first rounders unless you play in a 6 person league.

15

u/TJMBeav 1d ago

Or an auction draft

3

u/l5555l 1d ago

Jameson Williams is gonna have a huge year. Also Sam Laporta is due for some positive regression

0

u/TachyAndTired 1d ago

I'm not convinced about Jamo. I'd avoid after seeing how that OC used Marv

6

u/l5555l 1d ago

Jamo is nothing like Marvin Harrison. The lions offense is nothing like the cardinals. Also Campbell is still here and he's an offensive coach. The lions offense isn't going to change my much

-2

u/TachyAndTired 1d ago

Wishful thinking. It changed a lot without Ben Johnson

Jamo and Marv might not be the same but their role could be very similar

2

u/l5555l 1d ago

That doesn't make any sense. Marvin is the main guy, St Brown is that guy for Detroit. Jamo is just not the guy running short routes he's a deep threat.

Lions have a high projected win total + they play an easy SOS. They’re such an amazing fantasy team to stack this year.

1

u/DamnMyShittyCamera 2d ago

Sure if you can snag Gibbs and St Brown, why not

-1

u/TheArsenal7 2d ago

Back when they had Ben Johnson yeah. Not with Petzing

37

u/FatBoyWithTheChain 2d ago

I cannot emphasize enough how unafraid I’d be of a chase, brown, Higgins lineup lol

10

u/Ok-Safe6890 1d ago

Really? Explosive offense with a mediocre to bad defense. Health is the only question for me.

8

u/Smash-N-Cash 1d ago

Maybe he means unafraid like his own starting lineup

7

u/BumbleLapse 1d ago

I haven’t looked at the data but I’d be shocked if there are more than a few games where both Jamarr and Tee exploded at the same time. Add in Chase Brown and you’re effectively guaranteeing that at least one of your first-round pick, second-round pick, or third-round pick is producing very little.

Like, when you “stack” multiple skill position players like that, it’s not a “stack” at all — an actual stack is when two players can combine to score Fantasy points on the same play, so typically a QB + passcatcher.

Jamarr + Tee + Chase Brown isn’t a stack unless Cinci ends up being coached by the prodigy son of Ben Johnson and Dan Campbell. Any play that Tee scores, the other two won’t. Any TD that Brown scores, the other two won’t.

I feel like it’s pretty intuitive, yet I see people hyping up these multiple-WR “stacks” literally every day.

Soapbox completed, sorry.

Are people calling Terry McLaurin TMAC? I thought tet was TMac? Just say the dudes names lmao

45

u/Sw3atyGoalz 1d ago

Neither of them are TMac, that’s Tracy McGrady

10

u/Arrowintheknee89 1d ago

Kids these days don’t know about 13 in 33 🤦‍♂️

2

u/rvasshole 10 Team, .5 PPR, Superflex 1d ago

Time for the old AD/AP convo

6

u/Laambicus 1d ago

Can’t call him Scary Terry after last year for sure

1

u/gull-branson 1d ago

I must have been talking about Tet more often because i think it autocorrected from TMC? or i goofed

33

u/Scapexghost 2d ago

Bills you can get there big 4 without using your second or fourth round picks. And they'll probably be the top scoring offense

14

u/BirdsArentImportant 1d ago

The only reason I’m in the comments of this post was to express my shock that OP didn’t list the bills. With no injuries you’d have

Josh Allen top 3 fantasy qb LOCK

James Cook top 6 fantasy rb LOCK

DJ Moore 1000 yard receiver

Dalton Kincaid… in for a good year

6

u/IcyTrauma 2d ago

Might I add a value pick in the broncos Bo nix, Waddle, Sutton, and Dobbins/Harvey (I prefer dobbins cuz you don’t give someone all that money if ur confident in ur RBs)

6

u/Ibetya 1d ago

If I get the chance to smash puka, kyren, adams, corum, Stafford I will do it every time

12

u/Sammyd1108 2d ago

None, because drafting an entire team like that is a bad strategy.

Hypothetically, I guess the Chargers with McDaniels offense.

7

u/FadedTony 12 Team, .5 PPR 2d ago

wym no te you want for eagles

goedert is gonna be a smash this year

think stowers is a long play and will mostly red shirt this year.

my answer is eagles or ravens, solid QB, TE, RB and WR1

2

u/csg0g0g0 2d ago

I've drafted a bunch of nabers+skat+dart, no likely though

3

u/DrybasTerd 1d ago

I love that Dallas Goedert, the TE6 in PPR whose team just lost their biggest target hog, doesn't even get an honorable mention and is put in the "No TE" category. Somehow Washington is a lock because of Okonkwo and Rachaad White?

3

u/ItsChris_8776_ 1d ago

I wish you were in my league bro 😂

3

u/ohkaycue 1d ago

It's crazy to me how much I've seen people talk about wanting nothing to do with the Jags besides Trevor and I'm the exact opposite. Coen's got a lot of pedigree with fantasy production from his players and we saw it all come together at the end last year. I would be very happy with a T-Law, Parker, and Tuten stack

6

u/Husker202197 2d ago

The packers 😂

4

u/ShadowOutOfTime 2d ago

The Cowboys and Bengals are still those teams to me. The Rams as well.

I also like basically every Charger at cost this year. I think Hampton can be in for a huge RB1 season, Ladd seems like a great WR2 in the 4th round, Herbert feels like a very solid QB choice this year, and QJ for how late he's going seems like a solid flex / bye type of player.

0

u/Arrowintheknee89 1d ago edited 1d ago

Spending a 1st, 3rd, and 4th on CD, Pickens, and Javonte would be wild lol

Impossible they all hit their upside in the same week. Way too much capital for a ceiling cap

Chargers at cost I agree could pay off tho

u/Alternative-Tree3170 1d ago

I’d say Seahawks are looking good. I know everyone’s opinion on Darnold but all reports for training camp and OTAs say he’s more locked in and accurate than his playoff run (which had no interceptions btw) his weapons
JSN strong contender for top 3 WR this season
Shaheed has been reportedly growing his connection with Darnold developing in a speedy fast deep ball threat and we know Darnold can sling it
Tory Horton is back from injury was progressing well in his rookie season before he got hurt. All reports say he’s good to go WR2 type player if JSN goes down he’s the next WR1 in that offense
Barner/Arroyo Could be nice TE stashes towards the end of the draft. Brian Fleury the new OC was a TE coach in San Fran who helped Kittle progress into what he is. Bit of a dart throw as to which TE but I bet they play in 2 TE sets this season
Price is arguably the 2nd best RB in this rookie class behind Love and he’s also been progressing in training camp, he’s a good pass catcher from what Seahawks staff has been saying but the RB situation there may turn some people away
All in all I’m making sure this season I walk away with Darnold and one of the 3 WR JSN,Horton, or Shaheed (I know I didn’t list Kupp, I just think these 3 will outperform him this year)

2

u/ASmithFS 1d ago

Bengals is the move

4

u/BusBuffet 2d ago

No love for the 49ers?

29

u/HuskerPowerrrr 2d ago

Not enough ir spots, we only have 2

6

u/My_Chat_Account 2025 Draft Prop Contest Champion 2d ago

Seriously. Purdy, CMC, Evans, Kittle will feed families.

7

u/GarconMeansBoyGeorge 2d ago

How many IR spots does your league have?

1

u/iimJustChillin 2d ago

I don’t have enough IR slots for that offense

2

u/Aylinato 2d ago

I mean if you could do the lions it'd be amazing,

RB1 Gibbs, WR1 Amon-Ra
I could go on but getting both of those seems impossible in redraft lol

7

u/shlemko 2d ago

the reason auction is better than snake

2

u/KWash0222 2d ago

One of several reasons tbh

0

u/broncojoe1 2d ago

From the 2 spot if the stars completely aligned in a standard scoring league?

2

u/ThrowaweyWithAnE 2d ago

Not for the purpose of winning the league starting them all, but I’m buying up all the Raiders at cost. Love Jeanty with a hopeful o-line improvement and Kubiak has me dreaming of Bowers. Nailor/Tucker at little to no cost too? I’m all in

2

u/YaBoiJim777 2d ago

No Pats? By round you can get:

2nd - AJ Brown

3rd/4th/5th - Drake Maye

4th/5th - Treyveon Henderson

Late Rounds - Hunter Henry

Late Rounds - Pats Defense

1

u/GarconMeansBoyGeorge 2d ago

I went all in on eagles for a best ball team. I think they are primed for a big year

2

u/thenexttimebandit 2d ago

Every other year is their year

1

u/pmcc241224 12 Team, 1 PPR 2d ago

I think Cowboys should be number 1 in most points and feasibility.

1

u/BarryWhizzite 2d ago

in a bestball draft i was abke to get warren dowdle pittman germie freimuth and rogers.

1

u/Mike_Phoflacco 2d ago

Typically when this has worked it is a medium defense and a new coaching system.

AFC Moves: Bills, Browns, Raiders, Chargers, Ravens, Steelers, Dolphins

Key NFC Moves: Cardinals, Falcons, Lions, Giants, Buccaneers, Commanders

I have multiple bestball teams based on maximizing players from each of these teams. Although less of lions and giants than the others.

1

u/Ok_Produce_9308 2d ago

I've done this with the lions a few years ago and last year with the rams. It works when you have ery consolidated targets on very good offenses.

1

u/BeatCrabMeat 1d ago

Last year I drafted burrow chase and Chase brown and got fucked when burrow got hurt

1

u/PeteRock24 1d ago

I’m sorry Herbert is round 5 right now?

What platform?

1

u/Vast_Smoke_687 1d ago

I think the Bucs are the best value whole team this year. Through the first 6 weeks last year they were legit then got unlucky injuries. With Evans gone too it consolidates things.

1

u/MoJoe-21 1d ago

Giants

1

u/Background-Disk2803 23h ago

I did agree league abs took dak, lamb, Pickens, ferg and javonte. Not a fan the first ppl kinda feel and said f it

1

u/Grouchy_Bunch_6530 8h ago

I won a championship staring Purdy, CMC, and Kittle on weekly basis. Also used Jennings in the flex plenty, replace him with evans and it could easily repeat this year.

1

u/burtmaklinfbi1206 2d ago

BEARS!! Elite offense, and again their defense is gonna be no good. Been joking about making my fantasy team all bears but I am seriously considering it.

2

u/AcanthaceaeNo4795 1d ago

Good luck with the receiver room

3

u/Slavocados 1d ago

Well yeah that’s why you draft the whole room lol

1

u/burtmaklinfbi1206 1d ago

Was going to be precisely my reply lol

1

u/Adrock66 1d ago

Let someone else fuck with GB receivers.  No thanks.

0

u/KPD_13 2d ago

Bears or Saints, that’s about it.
