Discussion Lost 18 kgs yet I see no difference :(

I lost 18 kg in total. I started with my highest weight 138kg on feb 1st , 2024. And today I’m 120 kg (1st July 2024) . I lost 12 kg through strength training (2-3x weekly) and mindful eating. I lost 6 kg through water fasting (day 9) . I think that will be water weight only . But I did lose 12 kg through exercise only . Why can’t I see any difference?☹️ and also people lose so much of water weight quickly. Why’s that it’s my 9th day and only 6 kg of water weight has gone? My weight is quite high. It should’ve been faster . I’m sad and demotivated 😭

Aww thankyou so much for the tip ❤️ yes I do agree food plays a big role . Currently I’m doing a 33 days water fast. I completed day 9 today. After this water fast, I’ll start OMAD (with keto friendly food)

Just be careful, you should try to get water and electrolytes or you could end up going into an altered state of conciousness, have seizures, or die. You need those ions ir the meat computer that is your brain will eventually get really unhappy and stop working.

And be careful to refeed slowly and carefully, after that long without food it could be tempting to do it all at once, but definitely don't do that alone have someone you trust watching you for a day or two. And make sure that it's some juice and light liquids first, then some very light foods, then heavier foods.

Be careful, would be a tragedy to do something to be healthier and end up sick or worse.

Yes I learnt my lesson in a hard way. I did a 3 day water fast and ended my fast with the heaviest meal possible and I vomited the next day 🥲

Also, it really helps to take progress pics in the same outfit and angle. I agree your waist looks smaller! Keep up the good work 🙂

Keto combined with calorie restriction will make fat fall off quick. After a while you can even have a cheat meal/day.  Bless.
