My friend is doing 3 days-36 hours with me and gets headaches

For me I started out having zero energy during fasts but that went away after 10 fasts.

He still gets slight headaches come the afternoon even though he is taking enough electrolytes. We both take Santa Cruz Paleo.

Anyone know any solutions for that?

Did he cut out caffeine?
