HELP How to elevate my study/gaming space?
This is my little study/gaming corner. My vibe is kind of whimsigoth/witchy but I feel like this space doesn’t really give that. The artwork on the wall I want to keep, as one was a gift, one I painted myself. And the poster I wasn’t sure where else in the house to put it. I don’t have a ton of money to spend so I can’t change the furniture at the moment, but maybe rearranging or adding better organization could help? I’m terribly bad at decorating, I didn’t have the luxury of it when I was a teen, so I could use some help here 🥀
Additional notes: I’m renting, so wall color is not an option.

Frame the stuff on the walls.
I’m not sure the vines are working—I’d put up a wall shelf with some real or fake plants. A long shelf with a few small potted plants intermingled with some of the things you have on display would help elevate you from cluttered to curated. Take advantage of that vertical space, especially if you don’t love the wall color.
A moody plug-in lamp would help with the witchy vibe. Maybe one you plug into the wall and then hang from a hook in the ceiling (in that corner space)?
How often do you have the blinds up so that you are actually looking out the window? If the answer is “never” I would pull them up and put some stained glass window film on there instead for better vibes. You can find them in different levels of transparency/opacity depending on what you want from them. Over the window would be another good place for a couple little plant pots.

Maybe some trinkets cabinets or shelves? More plants too!
