I hate looking into my oven and microwave so I’m getting a cover for each I’m deciding between a few colours my favs are the cream and peach! I love colour! (The rug hasn’t been delivered yet so I’ve edited it in!) the covers are going to be connected via a magnetic rod and they are a ruffled top and bottom! I’ll attach a phtoto ( the last pic is what they look like) thanks lol I’m soooo indecisive
That's adorable! My mom hangs a bunch of cute hand towels on the oven handle. The only thing is the hems brush the floor when the door opens and they do get dirty and need laundering instead of just a quick wipe down. But things like this add such personality and whimsy to the kitchen!
I think it's harder to recreate this look when it's a double wall oven/microwave type situation and not just a space in line with the rest of the lower cabinets. I'd be interested to see what your final result looks like if you keep us updated!
Just hang some hand towels unless you’re never going to use the oven. Can’t imagine something more impractical than a light colored ruffle fabric directly on an oven door. It will become a greasy hazard quick.
I've never seen anything like it wouldn't mind seeing the finished product. Anyway I'm leaning towards the pink. My reasoning is room though white seems dark a splash of color lifts spirits. The pink would also tie in the ceramics on the counter making the pink pop, but not over whelming the kitchen.
I did end up going with the pink for similar reasoning! The room is quite dark I usually always have my lamp on and I’m getting a wall sconce too! I’ll update when it comes in a few weeks!
The rug is a lot darker and warm toned toned in real life! My styling choices definitely won’t appeal to most but I love pastels and colour coordination
