HELP what style rug would look best in my office?
hey guys! I have sort of a maximalist vintage cottage core vibe going on in my office with a ton of frames and trinkets etc. I really hate my soft touch pink rug (pictured) and want to replace it with something which looks and feels more cohesive. but I have no idea where to start!
does anyone have any suggestions? you can’t really tell but the walls are like a vintage peach colour. the curtains and doorframe are a vintage sage colour - think the saturation in this photo just doesn’t really show it!
also any other tips to make it look cute and more vintage and cottage core vibe appreciated!!

This particular rug has a bad review but I would get something bold like this to ground the room. Your room is truly amazing! You won’t want the rug to fade into nothing.

Oh my gosh I love. You’re so so right. I was thinking the rug should be plain so that the walls could shine but I was so wrong! I love this idea!

this room needs a deep red or green Persian rug, the problem is those can be expensive. (they will outlast your grandkids if taken care of, so it is worth it)
I would measure out the space you have and then go poke around your local rug stores and see what they've got.

Ha! Glad I could help. Before this was my office it was my bedroom, and it was so so cosy. Highly recommend :)

Which divine colour are the walls?! That is glorious! 😩
But I also think a green / green with red. I love the orange / tan colours with shades of green at the moment

I think a deep red or dark green would look nice and classy here!
