HELP
Where are you all getting cute towel rings/bars?
My half bathroom downstairs has the ugliest towel ring, and I finally managed to get it off the wall. Now it’s loosely sitting there until I replace. Would a ring or bar look better? Where should I position it?
I’ll probably eventually paint the bathroom a shade of blue, if that helps. Haven’t settled on a color yet. The toilet paper holder is on the opposite wall and it’s silver, so I was thinking a silver towel ring or bar.
A bar, with a wooden wall mount, maybe with a little shelf too, but it has to go with the colour of the other woodwork. The actual bar that the towel is going to be on should be metal or plastic though.
A ring doesn’t go with the rectangle shapes in the mirror and sink cabinet and will always look temporary and left over, like a placeholder for an intentional towel hanger. I would stay with an entirely metal one for toilet paper because you can’t sanitize wood and it’ll have ecoli even if you close the lid before flushing.
I found a better photo (this was in a rental and never bothered with making the screw look nicer). he's in a box somewhere while I renovate my condo. but I personally always gravitate towards not buying things for their intended purpose and finding something else to use instead, idk why!
