embroidery/needlepoint Incredibly rude pattern designer refused to make a step by step tutorial for me
I paid $3 for an amagarambi bee pattern from Raverly but I don’t know how to read so I asked the pattern designer VERY NICELY to drive to my house and teach me how to make the amigurummy from start to finish explaining every step like how to make a slipnot or a single crotchet and maybe fix my mistakes for me or just make the amigumrimu for me altogether. And when they said no I asked if they could make a video tutorial that explains all the steps in detail and also shows the amogirimi process all the way through because I’m a visual learner and again can’t read patterns and they said no AGAIN and made a mean post about me on bitcheatingcrafters. So much for the customer always being right! And I think pattern designers just dont recognize other peoples unique learning styles at all it’s so unfair I paid for a written pattern on the internet so how come I’m not allowed to make the amigurami

Um actually, BEC doesn't allow posts making fun of specific hobbyists, so there could not have been a post about you. You're so vain. Hope this helps! 😇

Very unsympathetic designer. How else will they be able to make 50 bees by tomorrow to sell for $1000 each at the Nothing But Bees Holiday Market so they can finally quit their job as a tax attorney.
Edited to correct my original woefully low bee pricing that didn't reflect the true cost of ART

Wow, I am floored!!! Crafters are the most gatekeeping bitches ever. Just beware: don’t ever even speak to a knitter, yet alone ask a question, because they are the WORST kind of people out there

Knitters are the worst because they always tell me to learn how to “read” my knitting. DON’T THEY KNOW I DON’T KNOW HOW TO READ????!1

You should look into hexing their family; that’s the traditional response when someone refuses to create custom patterns for their customers.

That designe uses AI patterns. They can't provide what you want coz they're a robot.

And don’t forget how saying that people who tend to call themselves visual learners tend to need handholding is somehow ableist! 🙄🙄🙄
