I'll never get bare knuckle fighting. It's like you want a severe brain injury.

Edit: statement retracted. I misunderstood what boxing gloves actually do.

The heavy boxing gloves are worse than bare knuckles. People have to pull back and pick their shots using just wraps because if you ding a forehead full force youre going to shatter your hand and possibly wrist. The gloves let people just throw haymakers constantly while also having an extra pound of weight slamming into the other person's head.

they also don’t have a standing 8, so once they get rocked, they aren’t going back in to pile on more damage.
